Hi! My name is Sean Douglas Leeper. I am currently a junior studying Biology at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, with the goal of attending Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and becoming a dentist. I have created this fundraiser because I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to attend a medical/dental mission trip, during my spring break (and 21st birthday), to a small village roughly 40 kilometers outside of Pucallpa, Peru. During the trip I will be assisting in a clinic under the leadership of medical and dental professionals and also helping lead a children’s Vacation Bible School in the evenings. This will be my first mission trip to a different country, and I’m very excited to not only serve the locals, but show them the love of Christ as well.
Here is how you can get involved. The trip costs $1,800 and if I include the necessary medications and other supplies I need, it is about $2,000. My goal is to raise $800 by the end of February. I plan to work, sell some of my possessions, and use savings to cover the rest of the expenses. The funds I raise will help pay for the cost of my airfare, room and board, and supplies for the trip. Your donations, no matter the amount will be greatly appreciated by not only myself but the local people as well. Thank you so much for all your support and taking time to learn about what I will be doing.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Mark 10:45
