Hey there!
Weâre the filmmakers behind SEANCE FOR THE âGRAM, an upcoming horror short film. The story follows three influencers who fake a sĂ©ance for their deceased classmate on a livestream, only to attract more attention than they bargained for.
This film is a true passion project. Weâve spent over a year bringing it to life, after tossing the idea around for even longer. Itâs packed with silly, anarchic fun and genuinely terrifying scaresâcreating it has been almost as thrilling as we hope it will be to watch.
But as much time and effort as we have put in already, we still need your help!
Why We Need You
Weâve already wrapped three (and a half) intense days of filming, and our talented team of actors and collaborators delivered some incredible footage during that time. This movie is shaping up to be amazingâbut thereâs still a lot of work to be done to bring it across the finish line.
We Still Have Stuff to Shoot!
There are more key moments to capture, and we need your help to get back on set and complete the story.
VFX!
With dozens of visual effects shots to plan, create, and polish, we need the scares to look as real and thrilling as possible.
Post-Production Magic
From color correction to scoring the film, to mixing and mastering sound effects, all the finishing touches will turn our promising footage into a completed film.

Director's Statement
Seance for the 'Gram started as a proof-of-concept short for a feature script Iâve been developing with co-writer Will Levinger. Like many of our ideas, it all began with a single gagâone we canât spoilâbut we built the story backward from that moment.
While many short films function as a teaser for a larger project, I wanted this to stand on its own: a complete, satisfying horror experience. Inspired by filmmakers like George Miller, Sam Peckinpah, and Alfred Hitchcock, we aimed to pack the film with distinct visuals and original scares, keeping the audience engaged beyond just one big twist.
Beyond the scares, I needed an emotional anchor. As someone whoâs not exactly social media savvy, I worried the film might feel like millennial finger-wagging at Zoomers. Instead, we decided to focus in on bullying as our universal theme. I was on both the giving and receiving end of bullying as a kidâsometimes out of fear of being bullied myselfâwhich is a phenomenon we hoped to touch on in the film. This is especially true of our âfinal girl,â Braeden, as he desperately tries to escape the damage he's caused. That emotional core, combined with an incredible cast and crew, shaped the film into something more than just a fun horror short.
Seance for the 'Gram is a fully independent passion project, and I truly believe itâs the best short Iâve been a part of. Huge thanks to our amazing team and everyone whoâs supported us along the way!
