Short Summary
The Witness Gaming team from Australia is on a mission to represent Oceania at the Localhost LAN in Denver, and we need your help to make it happen! This will be the first time in eight years that an Australian team will be competing at a prestigious tournament against the world’s best teams from North America and Europe.
Who are we?
Witness Gaming Australia is a powerhouse team of seasoned veterans with an undefeated streak that stretches over three years—longer still if you include the dominance of their respective parent teams. Having been mainstays in the Oceanic region for half a decade, they have more than earned their place on the international stage. Now, they’re ready to prove themselves among the best in the world.

In the post-Jasmine Tea era of Australian TF2 (2018 onwards), and prior to forming Witness Gaming Australia, one or more members of wG AU have been part of the dominant Australian team at the time. The roster of wG AU has won a combined 73 seasons of ozfortress.
What We Need
In addition to paying for all necessary living expenses (travel costs, food, etc.), each team member will be chipping in approximately $2,000 AUD for the trip. Taking this into account, we are hoping to raise the minimum amount required to cover the remainder of the costs for the essential expenses of flights and accommodation. A breakdown of these costs is shown below:
Flights: $2239 AUD x 6 players = $13,434 AUD ≈ $8,349 USD
Accommodation = $129 USD/room x 3 rooms x 7 nights = $2,709 USD
Total cost = $11,058 USD

Total Team Contribution = $12,000 AUD ≈ $7,482 USD

Therefore, $11,058 USD - $7,482 USD = $3,576 USD
Indiegogo fees have an upper limit of ~10%, i.e. approximately $358 USD
Total goal: ~ $3,934 USD (≈$6,330 AUD)
This $3,934 USD goal is the minimum amount that would ensure a hassle free attendance at LAN. If we exceed our target, any extra funds will be used to reimburse the players own contributions.

Note: Previous purchasers of the perk will be contacted to advise them of the change to their perk and will still retain their membership (as name of perk cannot be changed after it has been previously bought).
$25 - ITEM SIGNING - Get one of your Team Fortress 2 items signed by a member of the team! Donor must provide weapon and gift wrap, and can choose which team member.
$50 - DEMO REVIEW - Claiming the the demo review perk provides a donor with an hour of direct access to an available member of the team for any Team Fortress 2 related purpose, whether that be mentoring, demo/stv reviews for individuals or teams, mge, or even pubbing.
$75 - ITEM BUNDLE - Includes a scattergun signed by cooki, a pistol signed by silvo, an original signed by down, a rocket launcher signed by conor, a stickybomb launcher signed by enrith and a medigun signed by lau. Alternatively, you can have 6 items (provided by you) signed by each player.
$100 - VIP SCRIM ACCESS - Claiming this perk provides access to our mumble and game server during the buildup to LAN. This perk provides a great opportunity to spectate top level Team Fortress 2 with the added benefit of listening in to our communications while we play, and is an excellent tool for developing an understanding of the game.
$150 - TEAM HOODIE (Coming soon) - Show your support by wearing our custom designed Witness Gaming Australia Hoodie! Due to shipping fees, we can only ship domestically within Australia, or, if you're attending the event we can give it to you in person.
