Zen Honeycutt, Founder of Moms Across America and an international speaker seen on CNN, C-SPAN, and Dr. Oz, spoke to Monsanto’s 800 Shareholders at their headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri in January. With the help of the Organic Consumers Association and John Harrington of Harrington Investments ( a shareholder), Zen was able to represent Harrington at the meeting. Thanks to Zen's impassioned plea, a referendum giving shareholders access proxy to vote on their Board of Directors passed with a 53% "Yes" vote!
This was an historic meeting in which a mom was able to speak up on behalf of her children – and children around the world – addressing the impact of the toxic chemicals created by Monsanto. They quoted Zen:

Representing – and delivering – our voices
This campaign will provide the funding to send Zen Honeycutt to the largest chemical companies in the world and speak at their shareholder meetings on behalf of our children, their mothers, and American citizens. Zen's proven ability to speak with her heart – boldly and clearly – is opening eyes across America to the dangers of toxic herbicides and GMOs. First and foremost, Zen is a concerned mother, which makes her voice that much more authentic, powerful and passionate.
Zen's goal is to have every shareholder in the room reconsidering their investment, and the company considering a new direction. If she speaks for a referendum to guide the company in a new direction, she intends to get it passed.$8000 will cover trips to at least five other companies (such as DOW, Dupont, Syngenta, BASF and Bayer) with a $1500 budget per trip:
-
$500 per flight;
-
$200 for hotel for 2 nights;
-
$100 for meals;
-
$200 for babysitting;
- $500 speaker fee (after other costs covered)
-
Funds needed for buying at one stock share of each company, and
- Funds needed for creating binders of scientific studies to present at the meeting.
Any additional funds will go towards attending more meetings and support the publication of Zen's upcoming book "Unstoppable Love," the story of her journey for health, freedom and our cause to continue to raise awareness about GMOs.
From Zen's forthcoming book, "Unstoppable Love":

THE IMPACT OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION
You will be funding the transformation of the food system, our health and our future. Your contribution will provide a voice for Moms across America, who are struggling with health issues in their children. Personal accounts will be publicly recorded at the shareholder meetings of the companies responsible for the impact. Prepared with studies and testimonials, Zen will represent you as both an impassioned mother and an informed citizen.
Zen has done this before and will do it again with your support. Read the full account of her presentation and dialogue with CEO Hugh Grant of Monsanto: www.momsacrossamerica.com/blog.

It is unlikely, because legally the companies must allow for Q&A for shareowners, but Zen might not be able get into the meeting if she is not able to speak for a referendum. (The referendum is a guarantee) Sometimes the companies say they are"full" to not allow activists in. She will of course arrive very early to make this impossible for them . Most likely she will at least be able to speak for 3 minutes at Q& A.

If Zen is not allowed to speak she will attend anyway and bring the media with her. News reports will expose the censoring by a huge corporation of a single concerned mother's voice, representing thousands of other Moms Across America. She will do a press release. Past press releases were posted by 250+ media outlests with a reach of 132 million.
