What is Shatterproof Glass?
Shatterproof Glass is a film project being pitched to Spartan Films at San Jose State University. Part of the requirements for pitching is securing funding for your project. Your donation will help do the following:
- Give students an opportunity to work on a real film set and learn the tools of the trade under the guidance of professionals
- Help young artists exercise their ability to create
- Pay for equipment, rentals, insurance, food, and other necessities for making a movie possible.
- paint, costumes, editing software, camera lens rentals, and dinner for the crew are some of the ways money can be spent
Why is this screenplay important?
This project is particularly special to the writer because it gives a voice to young adults and children affected by a parent or caregiver struggling with addiction.
It's important to the students involved because no other under graduate program in the country currently offers the opportunity to work on a feature length film. This project, if selected, will help to further this opportunity and ensure it's success well into the future.
What if it doesn't get picked?
All donors will be given the choice of receiving a refund or letting us use the funding to produce the project independently of the school.
What do I get if I contribute?
All donors will receive a credit in the film for their contribution. Check out our list of perks for what you get for donating more!
