Hello Wonderful world of art lovers, supporters and fans. I’m Ursula Kendall and I am an Atlanta Based Artist in the medium of Dance. I come from a unique blend of instructors, mentors and supporters who love the energy I bring forth to the stage. I graduated with Magnet honors at Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Ga. I studied under Diane Sales, Roscoe Sales and Dawn Axam to name a few. I have had the privilege to audition and awarded partial scholarship from the late Denise Jefferson at the Alvin Ailey School in NY at a very young age, that fueled my passion and direction as a professional Dancer, Choreographer and Arts Activist today.
What is SHE Created IT? and why is SHE, so important to me?
SHE Created It started as platform to showcase female choreographers in Atlanta as a movement to put female artists like myself on atlanta’s arts map. It allowed us to share our stories through creative ideas, concepts and most imortantly, our own eyes. As SHE began to form, I learned that their were more female artists worldwide searching for an outlet to share their stories and given an opportunity to present great works on it's higher production level. I understood where they were coming from personally, and I wanted to be one of many women to share my talents with in creating a great space for female artists like myself.
Your contributions will help support 5 women to present their works which includes: rehearsal spacing, artists fees, lighting and sound support, little promotion and marketing.
The contribution also goes towards servicing the community with dance and dance-related art workshops from local female instructors who weren’t able to showcase works, but were able to give their time in instructing ages from toddlers to adults of all levels of dance supporting our movement in creating an sister-hood supported environment.
In which we give back the love with a Round Table discussion called Woman 2 Women Talk Back Brunch to evaluate and connect artistically in helping support women in the arts.

What We Need & What You Get
We need a total of $3000.00 donated funds which cover costs of all artists which includes dancers choreographer, hostess, sound and lighting techs, stage managers, flyers/posters, and flooring.
It is a blessing to receive and sponsored majorly from the oldest women’s college, Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC and allowing us to use their theaters, dance rooms, gyms, students and staff support to bring this unity of Female Artist Collaboration together along with its community. And as we know in the arts there is more work to be done always and this is why we are reaching back in our community of friends, families, and fans to support those who have put in so much time and effort to commit and dedicate their talents for all women in the arts.
Donating to our project whether you are right next door in winston-salem or in another state we as artists pledge to bring the joy we have on stage right to your door with special thank you’s SHE Created IT collectibles from T-Shirts, Tickets, Special Edition SHE Photos, Video Updates and more.
If we do not reach our goal, Well we will just say that we will, because we know in our hearts we are doing a great thing all around.
