STORY

IAN, a young veteran, suffers from battle induced stuttering syndrome and finds himself isolated from society. After months of unsuccessful treatment, he finds a controversial cure that has been banned since WW2. This miracle treatment could restore him but may also potentially risk his life. His sister, who is a nurse, is the final barrier he needs to overcome to receive the cure.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT My objective with this project is to dive deeper into the sequels of trauma and the exploration of the special bond that siblings have for one another.

Paula Cajiao (Writer/Director) 

Paula Cajiao was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. She served in the US Army with the One Operation Iraqi Freedom tour. Her resume includes a variety of films, music video's and commercials. Her latest short film, “Rosie”, is an Official Selection of PrideFLIX2021, under the umbrella of FLIXphiladelphia, one of the top 10 queer film festivals in the world. Cajiao’s films have streamed around the US as well as Europe. She currently resides in New York City where she is constantly working and understanding how to deepen her craft. .

Piyush Thakur (Producer/1 AD) is an Indian film Director/Producer/Writer. Piyush is famously known for his work for  Rolling Stone magazine.  After working in the Bollywood Film Industry for 5 years, Piyush moved to New York. He is a Producer for Music Videos for clients as Apple India, Viacom 18 India & T-series. Alongside his work as a Producer and Assistant Director, he worked on more than 30 short films and 10 Feature films in which 2 of them are Emmy Award Winning shows “Venice Season 6 " & " Beacon Hill Season 2 ",

 Evan Hall (Ian)

Evan is a SAG AWARD nominated actor for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series Orange Is the New Black (2018), he was also nominated in the best actor category at LAIFF January Award.

Andrea Syglowski  (Laura) 

Andrea is an award winning actress. She received the 2015 Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE Award) Best Actress 2014 Elliot Norton Award - Outstanding Actress, Large Theater. Andrea also received the Juilliard's Robin Williams Scholarship, and holds an MFA in acting from The Julliard School. Andrea’s selected credits includes guess star roles in New Amsterdam, Evil, Blue Bloods, Elementary among others. 

Wilemina Olivia-Garcia (Millie)  Wilemina is an actress, writer and director. She has appaerad in productions at the Public Theater, Atlantic theater company among others. She is a proud member of the LAByrinth Theater Company.

Yessenia Rivas (Hip Girl) Yessenia holds an MFA in acting from Pace University. Her work has received direct tv and amazon prime distribution.
