SAGA OF THE SWORDBREAKER is the next series in my publishing schedule. Cultivation with a cyberpunk twist, it is a story of a young man making his way as an armed escort in a high-tech fantasy world mired in a degenerate age.
In a world obsessed with wealth, power and immortality, Li Ming strives for peace and harmony within and around him, delivering justice at the point of his swordbreaker.
But before he becomes an escort, before he even receives his signature swordbreaker, Li Ming was first a soldier.
A sergeant in the Special Military Police, his mission was to defend the innocent from monsters and criminals too dangerous for the regular police to handle. He served with honor and distinction, employing his martial talents to the fullest.
One week before the end of his term of service, Li Ming is called up for one last mission.
A powerful secret society has seized control of an urban slum. The Special Military Police have been ordered to pacify the area and neutralize the criminal element. It is the most dangerous mission in his career, but Li Ming is up to the task.
Or so he thinks.

The Plan
Writing is my calling. I've been a pro writer since 2017, beginning with the Covenant Chronicles. In 2019, I turned to crowdfunding, and published the Dungeon Samurai trilogy and Babylon Blues. I've delivered every book on time and within budget.
As an independent author, I don't have to answer to politicians, editors, sensitivity readers, or anyone else who wants to dictate what creators can do. But that means I need to shoulder the costs--and keep the lights on. This campaign will cover the production cost of the series, allowing me to focus on delivering the books to you.
SINGULARITY SUNRISE is my most ambitious series yet. Consisting of five novels, every book will be published every sixty days beginning in July. All five books are complete. Risk is minimal. All five books are already complete.
The major risk to the campaign is a delay in production. I have backup service providers on standby for this possibility.
With the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be delays in shipping and fulfilment. Digital backer copies will be delivered as soon as practical. Other electronic perks should also be delivered without hassles. Shipping of paperbacks, however, may be indefinitely delayed. I can't do anything about shipping, but I will keep you updated.
