3 years ago, I gave up everything to find my kidnapped friends, who had been sold as brides in China. To everyone's surprise, I did find them - but that was just the beginning.
'Sisters For Sale' is a powerful feature documentary following two young women who transform their own personal tragedy into a phenomenal true story of hope and courage.
Right now you can make a very real difference to thousands of vulnerable young women at risk of human trafficking - read on!
THE FACTS
Right now, there are an estimated 45,800,000 people living as victims of human trafficking around the world. Most of these are girls and women.
The impoverished young women of Sapa, Vietnam, have become targets for human traffickers, who sell their victims as brides and prostitutes across the border in China.
My friends were only 16 when they were kidnapped from Sapa, trafficked into China and forced into marriage with local men.
Imagine if this happened to your sister, your daughter, or even you.

THE FILM
3 years ago, I went back to Asia determined to find and rescue my friends.
By the time I found them, each of the girls had a baby in China, and had to make the heartbreaking decision between her child and her freedom.
Their stories will be shared in the feature documentary, 'Sisters For Sale', to raise awareness of human trafficking.
For 3.5 years, I've given my skills as an award-winning filmmaker, and all of my personal savings, to bring this story to the world - now I need your help.

THE FUNDS
When I started this project, I didn't know what an incredible story we'd find, or how expensive it would become.
Instead of a three-month shoot, we were filming for over a year.
I now have the first 40 minutes of the film - there's still another hour to finish, and the work can't continue without funding.
More money is now needed to finish post-production and bring this humanitarian crisis to the world's attention.
HELP YOUNG WOMEN AT RISK
The film is only the first step: the real battle needs to be fought on the ground.
Part of your money will go to make a very real difference in the lives of vulnerable young women.
Together with ETHOS, we're launching a human trafficking prevention program in 13 high-risk villages of northern Vietnam.
The finished film will continue raising awareness and funds for an ongoing program to equip young women and their families against the dangers of human trafficking.

WIN THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME IN VIETNAM!
Best of all - if you tell your friends about our campaign, you could have the opportunity of a lifetime to experience an incredible month living amongst the colourful tribespeople of Sapa, in a breathtakingly beautiful corner of Vietnam. You'll share authentic home-cooked meals with the ETHOS team, and you'll live in their home. You'll meet the local women and understand what makes them so vulnerable to human trafficking. Here's how to take advantage of this offer, in three easy steps:
1. Open an account at Indiegogo. This takes literally 3 seconds using your Facebook account.
2. Click the 'Link' button near the top of this page (next to the social media buttons), which will give you a personalised link to our campaign.
3. Share the link with your friends - via Facebook, Twitter, email, however you like.
If your friends contribute to the campaign - even if it's only a dollar - that counts as a referral. The person with the most referrals by the end of the campaign will win a life-changing month in Vietnam. This fantastic opportunity has been provided by ETHOS and by my mother, Susan Randall. (Please note that transport to and from Vietnam is not included, and dates and any special dietary requirements need to be discussed with ETHOS).
