“Six In One” is the story of blackmail, murder and espionage written by Tanya M. Dixon. The story begins with the questionable suicide death of tycoon entrepreneur Harold Boyer of Boyer Industries. This film has the female camaraderie of “Waiting To Exhale”, the suspense of “The Score”, and it carefully and skillfully unveils twists and plots like “The Departed”. Is Adria guilty of hiding Harold’s secrets in order to save herself from federal charges or does she have a personal vendetta with Randall Mack? In the words of villain, Randall Mack, it’s “Six in one, half a dozen in the other”. You decide…

Cinematographer DAVID CLAESSEN

David started working as a Feature Film Director of Photography in 1983 when he got the opportunity to photograph the French Film Haute Mer for the Argentinean director Eduardo Cozarinsky.  Since settling in the USA in 1986 he photographed The Telephone (Whoopi Goldberg) for Rip Torn (“The Gary Shandling Show”), “Getting In” (Matthew Perry, Callista Flockhart) for Doug Liman (Swingers, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Fair Game).  In 1995 An Evil Town directed by Richard Sears won Best Short Film at the Film Festival in Cannes, France.  A few years later David won the Kodak Achievement Award for Best Cinematography for his work on Marc Chiat’s Every Dog Has It’s Day.  While primarily focused on commercials (Mercedes, Heineken, Nike, Cadillac) and Music Videos (Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Back Street Boys, Aaliyah, Brandy, Monica, Boyz II Men, Jay-z) over the last 15 years, Claessen has completed several films with director Julie Dash (Daughters of the Dust, Love Song) including The Rosa Parks Story for which she was nominated by the DGA for best direction.  Angela Bassett won an Emmy and an Image Award for her performance in the movie.  With Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman Claessen scored his first #1 Box Office Hit. Soundtrack ELLIS HALL

Ellis Hall, born in Savanna, Georgia, raised in Boston, is often labeled “genius”. Without musical boundaries he is the quintessential performer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, with a five-octave range. Hall has also made a mark with his incredible ability as a songwriter, arranger and producer.  Ellis has performed, recorded and collaborated with a vast variety of musical icons. Including Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, George Benson, Michael McDonald, John Mayer, Herbie Hancock, Earth Wind & Fire, Natalie Cole, James Taylor, George Duke, Huey Lewis and the News and his musical mentor Ray Charles.

In the early years of his career, Ellis was featured as the lead vocalist performing with Kenny G. on his debut hit single, “What Does it Take.” He then joined the soul-stirring group Tower Of Power as lead vocalist, keyboardist, songwriter, arranger, and producer and enjoyed tremendous success as a member of the multi-platinum group, The California Raisins.  Ellis has been featured in the award winning TV shows including, “The Wonder Years”, and The 75th Oscars “Chicago” segment with Catherine Zeta Jones and Queen Latifa. Some of his film credits include “Big Momma’s House” with Martin Lawrence as well as Steven Spielberg’s “Catch Me If You Can” starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio.

He has also been a featured vocalist on soundtracks ranging from the TV series West Wing and NYPD Blue to films such as “Lion King II,” “Chicken Run,” “Bruce Almighty,” “A Day Without A Mexican” and “Polar Express”. Ellis has performed and was introduced as Ray Charles’ protégé at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts where Mr. Charles received the National Visionary Leadership Project Award. This tribute has lead to his recent performances with various symphonies including the Pittsburg, Tucson, Nashville and Honolulu Orchestras. Ellis is proud to carry on the celebration of the soul legacy.

For the debut of my first feature film, SIX IN ONE, I went this route for various reasons. First of all, it’s easy to get caught up in the politics of movie-making with extensive costs and budgets. The movie may never be produced! But IndieGoGo has provided a wonderful platform for filmmakers and project owners to incorporate the slogan, “Just Do It”. Now we can share the building of a dream with friends, family, and supporters who can help concepts to be brought to completion and make dreams a reality.

We plan on using the funds for the development stage of the "Six in One" movie in Atlanta, Georgia.  The funds will go to securing talent for the film, producers, permits, legal, camera, locations, and everything needed for this stage of production.

SIX IN ONE Perks

(Please view on the column to the right)

Special Thanks to the wonderful cast & crew in Florida that helped to make the trailer for SIX IN ONE!!

The ultimate challenge is to make a film that raises awareness, starts a conversation, and that has measurable impact and can make a difference—especially if you have limited resources. But some of our history and experience in television and film will now work in our favor as we have a network of talented friends from our long careers who want to see this project succeed. We'll have support from professionals that can bring their experience to the table in the areas of cinematography, production, casting, etc.

Do we have the goal to make this film a theatrical release? Of course! But even though we cannot guarantee a theatrical release we can still guarantee that we will do our level best to give our fans and contributors participation in a wonderful project—in which some people have been yearning. With the right kind of public support, we can only increase our chances of a theatrical release.

Some of the risks go without saying…but we’re going to say them anyway:

--For gifts requiring your presence, unless already stated (with the pledges and rewards) you must pay for your own travel and accommodations.

--For rewards that include shipping costs, the costs are determined by size, weight and destination.

--For rewards requiring appearances, minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that if we’re unable to raise the full amount of money to fund this film, the dream will be prolonged once again. Our hope is to reach as many people as humanly possible! That has been our mission since the start and despite the challenges made along the way, we remain committed to our goal.

Help us make the Dream a Reality!

YOU are the most important contribution in making this film a reality.
