The American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) is a patient driven charity dedicated to creating awareness about the perils of untreated sleep apnea and to providing assistance to those who are touched by the disease.

Out of those who are diagnosed with sleep apnea, there is a group who cannot afford treatment, even though they have been diagnosed! Untreated sleep apnea is a killer driving other disease states in the body, like diabetes, heart disease, depression, and rapid cancer growth.

To meet this challenge the ASAA provides donated - new & gently used - CPAP machines to sufferers who can't afford one due difficult financial circumstances combined with poor insurance coverage or no coverage. Without CPAP assistance, they do not get the help they need.

CPAP machines in this program are donated to the ASAA, however there is a cost to repurposing them and shipping them to the needy recipient.  The ASAA is looking to raise $10,000 to provide this exchange. This program requires a part-time employee, supplies and shipping expenses. All funds raised in this campaign go toward this program.
