About The Team
The U12 Team is a very elite soccer club that competes at the highest level of youth soccer in California. The boys come from across Southern California to try and earn a spot on the roster. Once selected, the boys under the guidance of top flight coaches, travel to tournaments and games throughout the region.
The team is coached by two of the best coaches in the country.
Head Coach Greg Curry is currently the Assistant Coach for the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) Men's Soccer Team, which is one of the top NCAA Division I teams. He also was Team Captain, and a member of their 2006 National Championship team. He then played professionally for the San Jose Earthquakes, before starting his coaching career as an Assistant Coach for Sacramento State.
Assistant Coach Tim Vom Steeg is currently the Head Coach for the UCSB Men's Soccer Team, and is the most successful coach in the history of UCSB. He was the Head Coach of UCSB's 2006 National Championship team, and UCSB's 2004 National Championship runner-up team. He was also named the 2004 and 2006 NCAA Division I National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Coach of the Year.

About The Club
![]()
Santa Barbara Soccer Club (SBSC) is a non profit organization, dedicated to helping soccer players develop the proper fundamentals, skills, confidence, and maturity to be successful on the field, and most importantly, off of it. Through the teaching of it's members and coaches, each player learns how to improve as an athlete, as a teammate, and how to build friendships.
The Santa Barbara Soccer Club has produced three consecutive National Championship soccer teams. Many players who have participated on teams throughout the organization, have gone on to college scholarships, and some, have even made the professional level.
Going To London!

Almost every soccer player (especially in this age group), dreams of playing in Europe and becoming the next "Messi," "Ronaldo," or even "Pele!" Well, the U12 Team has the chance to do this...or at least play in Europe!
The team has the opportunity to train with, and compete against Academy Teams of professional clubs. The boys will get the chance to see how they "measure up," against other boys who are being groomed by professional teams.

But, like everything else, dreams don't come cheap. Between tournament fees, transportation, referee fees, coaches, hotels, meals, and other expenses, the cost per player is expected to be $3,500. Without the help and support of parents, friends, sponsors, and fundraisers, some players won't be able to participate.
This is where you can help!
Please consider giving a tax deductible donation to help the boys. All donations through this fundraiser go directly to the Santa Barbara Soccer Club U12 Boy's Team, and as mentioned, are tax deductible. Any donation you can give to help the team will be greatly appreciated, and we have some great items to give you to thank you for your support.
