Risks & Challenges
Approaching the publishing world as a career is not an easy goal (not for the faint of heart?), but I’ve never been one to take the easy way out! In publishing my first devotional I bore the full expense and hadn’t spoken in years. In the past three years God has done the miraculous and opened up doors for me are astounding. Water In The Desert was republished by Word Alive. They have taken on my husband and I in a co-publishing arrangement. I am traveling places to speak that I’ve always wanted to visit and my books are going places I’ve never been. I’m hearing stories that Water In The Desert is being used in places I may never get to go: a Ladies’ Bible Study group in Mexico and a girls’ home in Zimbabwe just to name a few. I look forward to hearing the same for Soul H2O! The team God is putting around me to launch this new book is overwhelming; publishers, publicists, fellow authors and supporters. The opportunity to bring my books into the US market is a Canadian authors dream. It would seem unattainable without the opportunities I’ve been presented with for a US promotional campaign and Word Alive having secured US distribution for my books. I believe God has perfectly positioned me for for this next step.
