Just a quickie before we start - what is crowd funding? What am I getting involved in?
We all understand paying for
concert tickets months before the concert is on. We pay for flights in
advance to secure a seat.
We're doing just that –
pre-paying for something in advance so we can see it before anyone else, like pre ordering a DVD, only this is online. Bigger Picture have a long
track record of delivering high quality films. I hope this explains this new approach.

Short Summary
This is an online TV show for motorcyclists made by motorcyclists, broadcast on our own dedicated channel.
Team leader
and former Champion Jamie Whitham is
a mechanical engineer with his own workshop & everything needed to fix
machines. Together with his racing pal Jenny Tinmouth and friends, they find and restore old bikes and machines.
The idea is to then go and have fun entering competitions or doing exciting and interesting things, spending the least amount possible.
We will get up to all sorts, traveling around, doing some crazy and challenging stuff, maybe set a new intriguing record? Get dirty, a few bruises, lots of laughter.
We film the whole thing from start to finish for your entertainment.
We aim to find and get going the following:
Trials bike
Scrambler
Enduro bike
Road Racer
British Classic
Go-kart
Quad Bike
Maybe you have some ideas? Please TELL US! We want to know and you can be part of the process!
What We Need & What You Get
For the first part of this series we need at least £28,000. The more we get, the more we can do.
This is so we can research the story, put together a filming team, film it, edit the material, set up a channel on the internet, and then broadcast it to you.
The first part will be in four sections.
For just £10 you can see the first section.
For just £25 you can see the whole of part 1!
For £40 you can see part one AND part 2! And we have some DVD deals too!
For £100 two of you can come to the exclusive launch party where we will show some of the programme and treat you to some nibbles. You can also get to meet the team in person.
If you are feeling flush and want to show your appreciation, we'll accept £1000 or more for all the above plus a special treat. [See the perks].
We plan to make the show in stages:
* When we hit £5000 we will produce the 1st section of part 1 of the series
* When we hit £11,000 we will produce all 4 sections of part 1 of the series
* When we hit £20,000 we will produce the first 2 sections of part 2 and all part 1 of the series
When we hit £28,000 we deliver all 4 sections of part 1 and part 2
We think this is the best way forward and means we can get on and do stuff.
If we don't make our goal, and I very much doubt that, we will do what we can with what we raised. As you can see we already made a test. And if we get more, which we think might happen, then we will make a load more programmes with a load more bikes. We believe we will easily make our target and most likely exceed it so that we can do part 1 and part 2 right away!
Risks & Challenges
One of the problems is finding the right machine, which can be tricky, however we have already as you can see in the taster found and got a bike going. That bike cost just £90! [Jamie said it was £90 too much!]

Other Ways You Can Help
We are looking for knackered old bikes and machines lying around in sheds and in barns. Maybe you know where there is something or you have one yourself? Tell us! They must be complete, intact, nothing major missing.
Also maybe you have some ideas of what bikes or machines we should be looking to find and why - AND what to do on them - we'd like to hear from you please. Be realistic though - remember its about doing it on the cheap!
So go on, join us! It's only a few quid. And if you want more fun, why not come to the launch party?!
