When riding at night, it’s crucial to have a clear view of all road conditions. But typical bike headlights simply point straight ahead without the ability to adjust. Speednite has a powerful 800 lumen front headlight controlled by a head sensor attached to the helmet. It tracks your head position and automatically adjusts the light beam up or down to the angle that you are looking. By changing vertical angle by up to 90° Speednite puts the light beam right where you need it.
 

There are four LED modes available (Full Light, Half Light, Quick Flash and Slow Flash) for any riding conditions, all conveniently controlled by physical buttons or through the Speednite app.

Anytime your go for a ride, it's vital to make yourself visible to other road users. Accidents most often occur when turning or changing lanes. However, it can be unsafe to use traditional hand signals, which force the rider to remove their hands from the handlebars and are difficult or impossible to see in the dark.
 

Turn signal & rear light shows the turning direction​

Speednite makes your intentions clear with super bright laser turn signals that shine on the ground in the direction of your intended turn. The laser indicators can be seen clearly by other cyclists, pedestrians and car drivers.

Speednite is the first lighting system with automated turn signals that are triggered by the cyclist’s head motion through a tiny head sensor. The helmet mounted sensor tracks the user’s head movements and shines a warning laser light onto the ground in the direction of the turn. At the same time, the taillight indicates the turning direction with a blinking light for added safety. 

Emergency SOS Function

If the worst does happen, Speenite provides added features for the cyclist’s safety. The head motion sensor can detect unusual motions that are associated with a crash. In that unfortunate event, the SOS signal lights will be turned on and flash rapidly. At the same time, the Speenite App will automatically alert a pre-set emergency contact for help.

Traditional helmet lights point their light beam in the direction the head moves, but they are heavy and add weight to the head in a way that impacts your riding experience. Helmet lights can also break easily during crashes. Speednite keeps your helmet lightweight and your headlight on the bike where it belongs. 

Lightweight Head Sensor  

It moves across 90 degrees

The main safety functions of Speednite are controlled by the head sensor including the front headlight and the turn signals. The front headlight moves up or down across 90 degrees in relation to your head position.

When you are ready to make a lane change or make a turn, a slight movement of the neck left or right will initiate the laser turn signal, illuminating the road with a bright stripe of light on that side, making your intentions clearer to motorists and other road users.

Remote & Manual Controls

Speednite also has physical buttons for more convenient use. With them, the angle of the front light can be manually adjusted, just in case the head sensor is low on battery. There are four LED modes available (Full Light, Half Light, Quick Flash and Slow Flash) that can be controlled by the button/app.

If manual control is preferred, a small remote can be attached on the handlebar and its function works the same way, controlling the angle of the headlight and the LED modes.

Smartphone App

Along with its powerful safety features, there are more detailed functions inside the Speednite app. It acts as a bike computer and shows the major metrics for your riding including speed, time and distance and connects with other BLE heart monitor devices. It also allows you to set the configuration for the vertical movement angle of the front light, the turning range of your head that triggers the right or left signals, and the sensitivity of the head sensor. 

Speednite App is able to record and save your riding data for training purposes and its bike computer functions and data can sync to popular riding app Strava.

Automatic Rear Light



The rear light provides added safety with Full Light or Flash Light modes and has an Auto Brake Light function that is triggered when a sudden brake event occurs. 

Bluetooth & Accessories



With Bluetooth built-in, Speednite works with other popular third-party BLE tools such as heart rate sensors, speed sensors, cadence sensors, and more. It tracks cycling metrics automatically, including speed, RPM, BPM, heart rate, etc. 

Affordable Safety


 

At only $129, Speednite is a complete and affordable cycling lighting system and the first to be controlled automatically with a head sensor. Other front headlight and rear taillight combos often costs more than $200 and don’t provide the convenience or control of Speednite.


 

Compatible with Most Bikes

The 90mm length of the Speednite stem is perfect for mounting on most bikes. For other bikes, an adapter is available. Speednite is simple to use and easy to install on any bike.
