Who are we?

We are David and Carol Ertur. We live in a suburban home in Florida with our two children, Caden (5) and Ava (3). Having two young kids at home all day keeps us (mom) extremely busy, with little time for breaks. The hot summers call for lots of water activities. We don’t have a pool in our backyard, so we either have to go to parks or find water toys that the kids won't destroy or get bored with quickly. We prefer staying home in our backyard though, as it allows the kids to run around freely and still gives us parents some time to socialize and catch up. We needed an affordable, backyard summertime option full of water activities, and that's how we came up with Splash₂o.

As with any product development effort, we expect to come across a few challenges: some that we plan for and some that we just won't be able to predict.
