Short Summary
Hello potential contributors, we are Eldritch Game Studios with a team of 4 close friends who are determined to make a immersive story detective game for you guys. We are from Malaysia, we've been playing games for majority of our lives from flash games in websites like minigames or armor games to steam games to big games like World of Warcraft. Supporting us would help us survive for a few months by paying our workers, also we would spend some of the funding for a bit of marketing to get some publicity to help us sell our game.
What We Need & What You Get
With the goal of 5000 USD converts to 20000 MYR. We would spend about 1000 MYR on marketing and pay 4750 MYR for each worker. Even when we do not reach our goal, we would prioritize the money on marketing to help sell our game. The only perk we can give is who ever contributed would get a free copy of the game to show our gratitude for our contributors.
The Impact
With your contribution we could potentially finish the game faster as majority of our staff are part time workers. With your contribution our staff won't need to work on side jobs to get income and we can all spend more time on the project, developing it faster and higher quality.
Risks & Challenges
The risks and obstacles would be the staff's time dedicated on the project. As majority of the staffs are working part time we might have issues with staff not able to complete their part of the job or might completely leave the project. Even when majority of the staffs are working part time, we have a full time developer that would not abandon this project until it is finished. We would look for other people to work on the project if anyone should abandon the project.
