The American Sports Organization is raising funds to donate sports equipment  to needy schools/kids in the USA and in Africa. ASO is working with LEFT to provide Soccer equipment for needy kids in Liberia Africa and ASO needs donated sports equipment in good to excellent condition! Soccer and Basketball are the two sports we are concentrating on in both Africa and in the USA.  

Liberia is the African American founded country in Africa and needs our help. In the 1820's freed African American Slaves went to Liberia and started the country in the 1840's. It has gone through a terrible Civil War and a devastating Ebola outbreak and they need help to get back on their feet. They have a wonderful female President named Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and she won the Nobel Peace Prize and is Harvard Educated! Please help the kids of Liberia through sports! See the Liberian Flag, the Star represents Freedom, the Blue represents Africa and the strips represent the founders of the Country!

ASO wants to develop areas of Liberia so African Americans can safely travel there to explore their roots! We want to eventually charter flights to Liberia so African American can see their ancestral source of origin. We want to develop educational tours showing African Americans the history of West Africa and to provide DNA tests showing the Americans what regions of Africa (and the World) their ancestors came from.        

We need to pay for equipment and shipping so if you can spare $1, $5 or $100 it will be greatly appreciated. If you have sports equipment in good to excellent condition please send it to ASO, PO Box 7712, Philadelphia, PA 19101 Attention: Rev. Jim E. Stephenson. Please do not send anything over 40 lbs. or to big like Goal Posts but soccer balls, basketballs, nets, rims, etc. would be awesome!
