Welcome to the 'Stale Popcorn' crowdfunding campaign. We're excited for you to be a part of our team and contribute to making this film the best it can be!
This short film is a small scale drama about a couple who fall out while on a date in a cinema. As the couple begin to argue about small things, they soon start to realise that they are arguing about more than just stale popcorn.
We hope to be shooting this film in the Broadway Cinema in the heart of Nottingham City Centre. It will be shot during March and will be completed by mid May.
My name is Ben Paul Johnson and I'm the writer/director/producer of this short film which I am making for my final year film. I have produced and directed a several short films and have put together an awesome crew for this project!

Below is a budget breakdown explaining where you contributions will go to make this film the best it can be as cheaply as possible.

The total we need is £670, I am putting in £100 of my own money into the project so we only need to raise £570. That's where we need your help.
Dont worry if we don't reach our goal! The film will still get made either way!
And if we manage to smash our goal then any extra funding will go into further distribution of the film.

It will mean we can get our amazing location The Broadway Cinema which will make our film look and feel amazing. This would be particularly special in these trying times as going to the cinema is something we all miss.
