Stalled Trek is coming to a close!
Stalled Trek is a series of Animated Puppet Parodies of old Trek episodes! Amutt Time began as a kind of webcomic parody on my website in 1996 and then eventually became an animated short in 2012. Stalled Trek continued with The City on the Edge of Foreclosure which released in 2021 and now I'm working on the finale, The Dumbsday Machine!
It's kind of a mash-up of Mad Magazine and the Muppets!
Since this is the last go around, I've decided to get it all out of my system! :-) I've made parody photonovels and trading cards in the past, but since Stalled Trek started as a drawn comic, I think it's only appropriate to do just that!
Stalled Trek: The Comic!
And what better cover for a parody comic than a parody of the grandfather of Trek comics, the old Gold Key comics! My pal Mark McCrary has drawn this hilarious cover, perfectly capturing just how bonkers those old comics were ...and how amazingly off the mark they were, too!

This is not only a chance to complete the comics adaptions of the Stalled Trek films, but parody the comic books of yesterday!
Stalled Trek Stereo Reel!
This perk might be the coolest thing I've ever parodied with Stalled Trek! I love old View Master reels and since I'm creating Stalled Trek in 3D software, of course I could come up with seven stereo images to make a reel!

Seeing the images in stereo 3D with an old View Master is just ridiculously fun and nostalgic! Retroviewer who makes these reels does do reels that are just 2D images, but this one is a stereo reel! All seven images have depth just like the old classic reels!

Stalled Trek - The Complete Blu-Ray
For the first (and face it, probably the last) time, all three Stalled Treks on one disc in semi-glorious HD! Plus some extra stuff, including a 3-part series on the Making of Stalled Trek!

Stalled Trek: Amutt Time — A parody of the classic episode Amok Time, Mr. Spott is a half Vulcanine, so he's a Mutt! Drawn by the ancient drives, he must return to his home planet where he engages in an epic (?) battle to the death (?!) with Captain Krok!
Stalled Trek: The City on the Edge of Foreclosure — Parodying what many consider to be the greatest Trek episode ever, Krok and Spott must travel back to 1930 New York to undo whatever Dr. McGruff did to change the timeline. Mr. Spott discovers that it involves Krok's new love. Krok finds he can't have his fate and Edith, too!
Stalled Trek: The Dumbsday Machine — The classic Doomsday Machine gets the Stalled Trek treatment as Krok must face a giant, planet-eating monster that threatens to eat the Earth, completely ignoring how many calories that would be!
Risks & Challenges
The first two movies are already complete and I'm very close to finishing the third. Your donation will help with post-production and on producing the physical items! The stereo reel is completed and I expect to finish the work on the comic book in January.
Help Spread the Word!
This series has only been possible with the help of the backers over the years! Your support is invaluable and a big motivator for me! But that can also come from just spreading the word! If you know any Trek fans with a sense of humor you think might love Stalled Trek, pester them endlessly until they check out the campaign just to make you stop!
To be serious for just a second, thank you all for your donations and support over the last 12 years! Making Stalled Trek was my dream for decades and I still can't believe it came true!
Live Long & Prosper!
