We Saved the DUMBEST One for Last!
I can't believe it, but it's been TEN years since I made Stalled Trek: Amutt Time. After finishing the second one (Stalled Trek: The City On the Edge of Foreclosure) last year, I thought it would be great to be able to wrap Stalled Trek up with one last hurrah!
But which episode to parody?
A lot of people have offered suggestions and there's no shortage of great episodes to choose from, but when I landed on The Doomsday Machine, a light bulb turned on and I realized this was the one I needed to do!
I believe Stalled Trek: The Dumbsday Machine will be the funniest Stalled Trek of them all!

"You don't think I know that?!"
Stalled Trek: The Dumbsday Machine has everything! A crazy Commodore, a space battle with a giant planet eater, two starships, a shuttlecraft, the wrap-around tunic ...and a partridge in a pear tree! It really is the perfect episode to wrap up the trilogy.

I need your help!
Even though it's an animated puppet parody, it's still no walk in the park to make! I can handle most of the visual side, but that's only 50% of things. I'm impaired on the audio side of things. I'm mostly deaf in my right ear and my hearing in my left isn't what it used to be (thanks, aging process!) It's probably abundantly clear from the campaign trailer.
I was lucky to find a talented Sound Designer for the last film and I hope to be able to do more in the way of getting her higher quality audio to work with for this one. I'm also hoping that Max McGuire will be able to score this one as well. He did an amazing job on The City On the Edge of Foreclosure and this episode has one of the most exciting and memorable scores.
That's why having backers along for the ride is essential!
It's not just your financial support, though! Your encouragement and enthusiasm is what keeps me going through the long haul of making a movie. That's an incredible motivator.
I'll be making monthly updates all along the process and sharing the process with you. I think that's half the fun. Every backer will also gain access to a special Facebook group where I'll be posting exclusive updates!
Perks
For this one, I'm making DVDs of the whole trilogy with cover art parodying the classic Trek VHS tapes of the 80s! And there'll even be a collectible boxed set for those who want the set!

Risks & Challenges
Making a movie like this is definitely a challenge, but this will be my third Stalled Trek. Obstacles can (and do) occur, so bear in mind that my estimated completion date is just that, an estimate.
