ABOUT THE FILM
Tackling the current uncertainty of the world, our story follows high schoolers weighed down by the fear of the future losing themselves in a whirlpool of a graduation party to ignore their anxieties… also the world is ending.
Acting as a metaphor for how when a chapter in life ends it can feel like your entire world is ending; we are passionate about telling this universally relatable story and now, given the state of things, it’s more topical than ever.
We are excited to be working with exclusively Vancouver talent to both score the film and populate our cast and crew, building the strongest family possible to bring our story to life.
INTRODUCING OUR TEAM
Produced by and starring Alisha Newton, who’s been appearing in film & television for over a decade, and been seen in over 100 hours in prime time television; known predominantly for her lead role in Heartland, is stepping into the producer role for the first time in this spotlight vehicle.
Guilherme Almeida, a brazilian-portuguese producer, who’s been involved in indie productions from short films to music videos, for the last five years, studied filmmaking in Vancouver, and has been eager to produce a coming of age story for some time. This is a big passionate project for Guil.
Geordie Joseph is our writer/director, coming from writing and directing theatre productions on the east coast of Canada; has been writing/directing film projects in Vancouver for the last five years. Drawn to projects that reflect worldly themes and existential characters, Geordie’s excited to tell this story about the ambiguity of the future.

Ali Skovbye, best known for her role in Breakthrough, and her lead role in the upcoming Netflix series Firefly Lane.
Matreya Scarrwener, best known for her supporting role in the Johnny Depp film The Professor, as well as Imaginary Mary and Ties the Bind.
Kai Bradbury, best known for his role in Motherland, Fort Salem and Warigami.
Havana Guppy, best known for her lead role in the Hulu series Shut Eye, and various films such as Haters Back Off!
Jenna Berman, known for her roles on the hit shows, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The 100, and Halo 4:Forward Unto Dawn.
