My daughter and I hit a snag in our living situation, and are going to have to move to a new home by the end of May.
My landlord, without notice, raised our rent $150 more than we can afford. I'm a single mom, so I am not able to save the money quick enough before May 1st gets here. I don't receive any outside help. And have been forced to live paycheck to paycheck since I'm limited on what hours I can work, so I can get my daughter to and from school. To add to our misfortune, my daughter broke her arm at school this past September. And the doctor bill to have it fixed made my heart sink. It was more than I could afford. Its been one thing after another. And has been extremely hard to manage to make things work, and to see the light at the end of this pitch black tunnel. But to make a long story short, my rent was raised to push my daughter and I out of our home.
So I want to ask for help in raising $550.00 to help with the cost of the deposit, and the fees for setting up the utilities in a new home.
I could never ask for something like this without giving something back in return, so I've included perk options to give back in return for all your help!
*If you do not wish to receive these items, donations are greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for reading our story, and for all your help! You would be a blessing in our endeavor to find a new hope! The place that we call home.

Thanks to Adem and Stephanie for being the first to help us! And thank you for everyone that immediately jumped in to share the Campaign across the internet!
As of last night our need for this Campaign to reach it's goal has become our only hope.
My landlord informed me last night that she has found two people that want to rent out both our rooms for $300/each. She has given us our Official 30 Day Notice.
The shock of all of this is devastating, and the cross stitching has become my way to handle the anxiety of it all. I've always paid on time every time, and don't understand why this is happening all of a sudden. But thank you to every single person for the help and compassion for my daughter and I. It means the world to us. I will continue to post updates as things progress.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and understanding in our time of need!
