Substrata 1.4 returns the weekend of July 17 – July 19 to the Chapel Performance Space in Seattle, WA.

For this year’s edition, we are happy to continue our three-day performance program and bring unique international talent to our city; combining cutting-edge electronic music artists and modern classical composers with drone and ambient musicians to create an immersive weekend experience in an intimate setting. It’s been a pleasure organizing what promises to be another memorable Substrata. Expect a seamless blend of minimalist, electroacoustic, drone, ambient, experimental, and neoclassical styles, all representing different shades of what is a very diverse global artistic community.

We would like to invite all to partake in our fundraising campaign, essential in making this edition possible: any donation, no matter how small, helps us!

Our biggest expenses are the international flights for artist traveling from overseas and the absurd cost of international artist visas (thanks DHS for that - it cost about $1,575.00 for ONE artist) - we need every penny we can raise to make it happen!

Substrata prides itself in been a crowd-funded event, lacking any corporate sponsors, thus having the audience vote with their wallets.
