Hago Energetics Inc., a startup company focused on tackling climate change from many angles, is currently working on a project designed to tackle one of the most pressing issues involved with the climate crisis: carbon dioxide. 

Here at Hago Energetics, we have designed a direct air capture unit to pull carbon dioxide out of ambient air by attaching these units to thousands of trailers to be pulled by trucks, SUVs, and – ideally – electric vehicles. Our design will utilize the movement of the vehicle by incorporating the wind and eliminating the need for fans, thus saving on electricity and energy. The unit will use a sorbent that acts like a sponge to adsorb the carbon dioxide, separating the CO2 from the air. A concentrated product of carbon dioxide will be returned at a central station. 

Our mission is to democratize carbon capture by scaling it down to be used by thousands of people around the nation. The world needs to be carbon neutral soon. Once we become carbon neutral, we need to become carbon negative, by removing the carbon still in the air. With technologies such as miniature direct air capture devices, Hago Energetics is transforming the way we can address global warming by reinventing large-scale technologies for individual consumer use.
