Short Summary
Hello. My name is Brooke Palmieri and I have been making independent films since I was ten years old. I currently attend USC film school and am working on my thesis film called Sunny. In Sunny, Lizzy remembers her younger brother, Kit, who died because Lizzy was unable to adminster his medicine. She tries to look forward but is haunted by her guilt.
Since raising funds for a film is such a large part of the filmmaking process, I am currently working on that aspect of filmmaking as well as the creative process.
What We Need & What You Get
We will be shooting on location with SAG and non-union actors. We have budgeted the projected expenses to rent locations and accommodate the actors and would like to raise $1500.
The main expenses are: location permits, craft services, meals for actors, production design, and a studio teacher (required for child actors).
The Impact
I think this film will be interesting and emotionally impactful. It explores the concepts of guilt and nostalgia, which I have always been fascinated by. My past projects have never gone over budget and I have been consistent in budgeting my time and resources. Your contribution will be invaluable in getting this film made!
Other Ways You Can Help
I am extremely thankful for any contribution and would greatly appreciate if you could spread the word to your friends and family.
If you can’t contribute please ask your friends to get the word out and make some noise about this film! Thanks!
