Work and Love
Sunshine Boys are delighted to launch our second album, Work and Love, on Indiegogo!
When you pre-order—at any level—you’ll be helping us cover the expenses associated with releasing music as an independent artist: engineer and studio fees, session musicians, design and manufacturing costs, mixing and mastering, promotion, postage and packing materials. We have worked hard to write, arrange, and record these songs and we have been lucky to collaborate with people who share our work ethic and high standards. You’ll see and hear this on Work and Love; from the beautiful graphic design, to the high quality of the mastered mixes, to the gorgeous string arrangements. We have assembled an amazing team of artists and musicians to make this record happen.
We invite you to join the team! We’ve got quite a few perks to offer, including a cd of Dag’s demos for the album, so you can hear all the ways Freda and Jackie decided they had other (Better? You be the judge!) ideas, and the Telecaster with which Dag wrote our first album, Blue Music, and most of Work and Love (Is it magic? Buy it and find out!). We’re also offering a few opportunities to hang with the band—Want us to come cook dinner for you? Play a set of music in your living room? Or would you rather meet us at our favorite Tiki bar? We think we have something for everyone.
