Hello, fellow human! My name is Vito Gesualdi, and I'm the man responsible for this fine piece of graphic literature you are currently considering. I'm also a long-time writer and comedian, currently based out of the black hole of human misery known as Los Angeles, California.

I'm probably best known for my YouTube channel, where I make funny videos which tackle the sad state of mainstream entertainment. Writing and comedy are my two greatest passions, which is why I'm so upset to see just how trashy our media has become. For a long time, I thought this would never change. That all we could do was watch helplessly as the dying art of storytelling continued to circle the drain towards oblivion.

But thankfully, I was wrong!

After decades of being on the outside, creators like myself finally have access to knowledge and tools that allow us to rival the mainstream media companies. Right now, independent creators are slowly taking over the world of books, movies, music, and more!

This independent revolution is already underway, with dozens of indie trailblazers already helping set a new standard for storytelling and art. Which is why I'm so excited to finally be taking the next step in my own creative journey with my first ever graphic novel. Both myself and series artist Keder Lebeau have sunk our hearts and souls (and wallets!) into this book, and we both have faith that you're going to fall in love with this hilarious universe and characters we've created!

SUPERKILLLER is a project I've wanted to make for over twenty years. And it's only now, because of this growing independent movement, that guys like me finally have the chance to make our dreams into a reality.

Full transparency: shipping costs are a major headache for all crowdfunding campaigns. Since the items haven't been produced yet, campaign owners have to guess at the final dimensions and weights of their products, while also dealing with confusing overseas shipping rates that are constantly changing. This forces many campaigns to overcharge for shipping, just to ensure their costs will be covered.

Thankfully, a new solution has emerged! With the help of campaign management platforms, it is now possible to charge for shipping when the product is actually ready to ship, rather than at the immediate point of sale. With SUPERKILLER #1, you can be assured you will be getting the most accurate and fair shipping price for your destination, without overpaying.

So please! Don't be confused when you don't see a shipping cost on your IndieGoGo order. Once the book is printed and ready to ship, you will recieve an email directing you to our partnered campaign management platform. There you'll provide your final shipping address and pay the appropriate shipping costs.

Here are our current estimated shipping costs for the graphic novel (not including Add-On items). Note that we can fit up to three books into a shipping mailer without increasing costs, so the Triple Pack will qualify for this estimated rate. Remember, these prices may change depending on global conditions.

The Ultimate Collector's Edition (and many of the Add-On Items) will require a larger shipping box, resulting in increased shipping costs. Every project has unforeseen challenges that will come along. However, our team has helped launch more than a dozen successful crowdfunding projects, and know the typical issues to avoid. That's why we specifically waited until we had all our pre-production work done before launching this campaign.

(VITO: On a personal note, I know my reputation as a creator is on the line here, and I appreciate my backers far too much to ever let this project fail. I would rather go personally bankrupt getting this book published than disappoint you fine people.)

As a fully-independent project, we lack the budget for any sort of marketing. We rely entirely on our fans to get the word out about SUPERKILLER.
