I am starting this campaign to find help with saving my business. As of now it's been only me; however profit was made, even with me doing everything: registering the business, networking with vendors, researching products, while learning the science behind online selling, trying plus trying to get all my ducks in a row for division B of this company with no help. I need help. I would like to find an investor who understands my vision or a partner to run division B. Donations are appreciated.
Short Summary
"And it all starts with an Idea.." That is our motto at thriftymompawn.com. Currently this business consists of a retail website that mostly carries computers servers and any other device I can get a deal on; however, I've been networking with vendors worldwide and plan to showcase much more. Division B, still in development will specialize in construction and remodeling. I've registered with the appropriate agencies and will soon b eligible to bid on government contracts, as well as grants. Division B has to be run by someone else. Someone dependable, capable of leading a team and good at their craft. This is the type of person I would like to partner with. Just as good would be an investor. Even a small donation helps.
The short version of this company's life is this:
After a series of disappointments, I went into a severe depression. Then one day I snapped out of it. I had this idea in my head, and if I could make it work, not only would it be financially profitable but it would also enrich the community and make my daughter proud. So I started a website. A website that promotes thrifty living. That's all and good, but in order to make money, I need to go to places with a lot of traffic. So I went to "Goliath co" I've had an account with them for over a decade. The very first day; actually within 6 hours of listing, I went to respond to an offer only to realize I couldn't get into my account. I called Goliath co and was assured that my account would be restored within 24 hrs. Two weeks and more than 10 customer service reps later, someone realized that my device was blacklisted. I forgot to mention, my account was suspended and reinstated again during that time while my device was blacklisted. I forget why, but it was not because of anything I did wrong. Ok. So now that I'm live and people can see my items, I would like to focus my website and use it as an outlet to share our message, as well as promote various other new and emerging companies.
Impact
This experience and has and is showing me how fragile small businesses are; and how easily and effortlessly they can be destroyed by large coorporations. Paradoxical Solidarity is in need of funds to advertise, purchase inventory and pay our web host. So please pitch in what you can. If you want to become an investor, or limited partner, please contact me. Thank you for taking the time out to read this.
Love Always,
Annie
