Doctor Who Fan Film Webisodes

Episode 2-7 now in production and we need your help!

Your support helped made this happened, check out the teaser trailer for Episode 2-7! Watch it 4K by changing the settings!

Scroll down to watch Episode 1, we need your help to continue making the rest of the mini episodes!
NOTE: Thanks to the generosity of several restaurants including Koko Bakery, Li Wah Chinese Restaurant and Streat Burger our funding needs is almost reached!
NOTE 2: Thanks to all of you! We have reached our first overreached goal! So now if we can get $5000 then we will include a Weeping Angel in one of the scene!

Now we need your help to move forward and get Episode 2 thru Episode 7 done, we will be shooting the entire series (2 thru 7) all in the same production timeframe to take advantage of the locations' logistics and talent availability. Principal photography will start in October 12 and hope to wrap in December of 2014. Editing may take 2-3 months per each episodes due to the complexity of effects needed per scene. Each episode will be released on monthly basis except those listed on our perks.

Check out below the current playlist for Episode 1, the Behind the Scenes and the Teaser, and the rehearsal practices our talent needed.

Each episode will be about 5-8 mins long and our style is to blend the Anime martial arts with Sci-fi within the Doctor Who Universe.

The script has been reviewed by a friend in the UK who was part of the BBC's Doctor Who's 40th Anniversary event and along with other numerous exhibitions. His own words: "Love it! And love the arc!"

As this is a labor of love project, NO CAST, CREW or LOCATION will be paid for their time involved. They have volunteered to be part of this project while businesses in Ohio has offered their equipment and post production resources at no charge to help complete the series.

Although Director Johnny Wu has put some of his own financial support to help with this series, we still need your help! .

So, please consider helping us to make this project a reality, it will be one of the high end Doctor Who fan film that will be cherished for years to come.

Here is what your donations will be used for:

- Finalizing materials to build the creation of our own console the The Tardis' Control Unit, crafted by our local talented artist Gadi Zamir. (Yes, that's our Doctor)

Here's Gadi workiing on our Tardis' Console.

- Makeup and prosthetics needed to make several Alien races like the Silurians -(two of them will appear in the series.)

- Props needed for our series, such as this heavy space gun below and others. Yes, we know Doctor Who doesn't use guns but these will be used by other characters.

Here's one prop gun finished:

- Catering for cast/crew. We are excited to announce that 80% of our craft services has been accomplished thanks to the generosity from Li Wah Chinese Restaurant, Streat Burger and Koko Bakery. We are now just need for the daily refreshment fruits and drinks throughout the day. We anticipate about 5 weekends of shooting, at one point, over 20 people, so, we would be very delighted that  you can help us! A satisfied cast and crew makes production easy, and it is the least we can do for them.

- Wardrobe for all the cast (approximately 20 people) from U.N.I.T. members to the Good Agents to the Bad Agents, each individual is different and unique. And each will be featured.

(We are not asking for any funds for cameras or lights as our colleagues are willing to loan us their equipment to be used, we planned to shoot the entire series in 4k using the latest and best DSLR in the market: the Panasonic GH4 shooting in 4K).

We also have a life-sized Tardis for our project, thanks to the Doctor Who Society of Cleveland for giving us the usage of their Tardis! (And yes, that is OUR Doctor)

What are you waiting for? We only need $5000 for the series which will be an hour long.

OVERREACH GOALS

(if we raise more than we need)

WE REACHED THIS! $3000 - We will live stream daily our principal photography days, so you can ask question, see how is it a movie is put together.

$5000 - A Weeping Angel will be added in ONE scene. :)

$6500 - We will build a moving Dalek and include it in one of the scene.

$8000 - We will have a few Weeping Angel throughout the episodes

$10,000 - Bollywood ending scene featuring The Doctor and The Master singing and the rest of cast dancing.

So! Please consider supporting us and being a part of our team! We know that we can deliver, as you can see above.

This isn't the first time we ventured into the world of fan films. We have made others. (A Joker's Card, S: A Superman Fan Film, see below and they have won several awards) So  we know we have what it takes to make some really good ones.

One of the perks we have for you is to have your name on one of these washers and it will be permanently a part of the Tardis' Console!
