TARAbrella’s patented safety runner ensures easy and and comfortable opening and closing of the umbrella, guaranteed to never pinch your fingers. The umbrella’s runner and framework are constructed of a carbon-fiber material five times stronger than steel, able to withstand even the most extreme weather conditions.

Wall Mount Charging Cradle
TARAbrella includes a charging cradle that can easily be mounted to the wall, meant to both charge and hold the TARAbrella while allowing the TARAbrella’s weather indicator to be easily visible as you head out the door.
Packed inside the TARAbrella are the sensors and “brain” of TARAbrella which allow it to provide you with an accurate prediction of the day’s weather. Inside TARAbrella, data provided by a digital barometer measures atmosphere pressure every 35 seconds while a digital hygrometer constantly measures humidity. Add in a little electronic wizardry to analyze the combined data, and TARAbrella is able to provide an accurate, constantly updated forecast of what to expect from mother nature through the simple LED indicator bar built into TARAbrella’s handle.
We've had enough frustrating experience being caught in the rain with no umbrella nearby, that's why we've decided to dedicate ourselves to designing the most outstanding umbrella. We've focused our energy in the past 12 months to develop TARAbrella. In our design process, we've overcome many challenges in order to develop the mechanism and waterproof capabilities the product currently has. Q2: How does TARAbrella forecast weather by itself?
A: TARAbrella’s can forecast weather by itself with both the data of a barometer and a humidity-meter to accurately estimate the weather within 6 hours. Firstly, it uses the barometer to determine the change of pressure over time (every 35 seconds). So, if the pressure drops, there is a greater chance of rain. Secondly, The humidity-meter provides information of the moisture levels in the environment, which combined with pressure levels forecasts the weather. With the sensor integrated into the handle, the LED light indicator will show you every time the weather changes.
Q3: How long does TARAbrella’s battery last after fully charge?
A: We designed the TARAbrella to be very energy efficient so that only need a very small built-in battery, which you can charge via rechargeable stand . The battery life would depends on how often you use the weather signal bar and LED light features. The battery can last for 100 hours if the weather signal bar keep turning-on; If both the weather signal bar and super LED light keep turning-on, it can last for more than 30 hours in estimate.

A: TARAbrella is 83cm long when closed, and its canopy is 104cm when openning. It weighs 198g only.
Q5: What is the Anti-Lost function of TARAbrella?
A: TARAbrella has a built-in, detachable tracker that can help you keep tracking on your TARAbrella so that you will never lose or forget it. When you leave your TARAbrella at one of your preset safe locations, for example, your home, office, or car, the tracker won't bother you. However, once you are 10+ meters away from your TARAbrella, the tracker will beep.
Q6: What does the 4 situations in 3 modes of TARAbrella mean?
A: The 4 situations mean sunny, partially cloudy, cloudy and rainy day. The 3 modes mean transparent mode, sparkling mode, and whole blue mode of the TARAbrella’s weather signal bar. The weather signal bar will be transparent for sunny and partially cloudy days, and it will appear sparkling blue light for cloudy day, and whole blue light for rainy day.
