Remodel the American Legion Post 397

This is an important campaign to restore the American Legion Post in Monterey Park, California. Many veterans belong to this organization young and old. This post was built in 1929.    

Post 397 is a great place where veterans in our community come to have a drink, have a family event in the hall, or convene to do community service. Everyone is a dedicated volunteer.  We volunteer our time to help the community of veterans in Los Angeles.  If you have a parent or grandparent, a son or daughter, wife or husband that was or is in the U.S. Armed Forces then this is important!   

What We Need 

We are raising money to remodel American Legion Post 397 Monterey Park, CA. We are doing a renovation of the post back to its original look.  We need to repair the roof from structural damage.  This is the major problem!  The rest is simple sanding and painting.   

The Impact

The American Legion Posts are beautiful and traditional American places where family and friends join together to honor veterans.
