Short Summary
Hello everyone, my job is 'Professional Pastry Chef'. I do this job for 30 years, I love this job, when I create a dessert we put the soul. I want my every creation is unique ........ nice to see but mainly healthy, wholesome natural ingredients.The purpose of this campaign is to publish a cookbook which includes mainly Italian pastry recipes, but also pan-European, and a small extent of the world recipes.
In my over 30 years of experience behind the craft, since I was first
taught by my nan first, and then my dad, how to even hold a pan, I have made an
unquantifiable number of desserts, pastries, cakes of any sort and kind. I love
creativity and exploring new tastes and flavours, experimenting new recipes
using genuine products. The secret is in the simplicity of the ingredients: flour,
water, milk, eggs and butter. My dream is to publish a
cookbook, in about 500 pages, at least 250/300 recipes. (out of about 1500 recipes
that I created, interpreted and calibrated in each dosages in these years of professional pastry chef). The
cookbook will include ingredients, method of preparation and a photo of how the
final product. I hope this campaign with your contribution make me reach my dream, I also hope to make everyone happy and remind me, when you eat a dessert done from my book.

Below an example of the book 'The Art of Desserts'.
The cookbook will include a big variety of recipes, cakes, mousses,
desserts and many others. The mission is to make the reader of that cookbook a
great chef by following simple instructions and revealing some secrets. You can
create any type of dessert for any event, birthday, breakfast, after dinner,
with this recipe you can impress your friends with a dessert created by you like
if you were a 'professional pastry chef'.
In the cookbook you will also find curiosities and variants of classic and
well known recipes, such as the the croissants:
- Italian
style Croissant
- French style Croissant
- Fagottino Cioccolato (Italian)
- Pain au chocolat (French)

Below in the photo,( deleted part has been deliberately hidden ) is an example of how to create croissants inserting inside the butter to the dough in layers. Many products particularly for breakfast (Croissant, Fagottino, Croissant salty, etc.) can be frozen when they are not cooked, and you can cook them if necessary.
The same method of incorporation of the butter in layer is valid for 'Millefoglie'( Puff pastry) but with different number of folds (you'll find out in the book), this procedure of folds is very important to have the true 'Millefoglie', light and friable,(another little secret), this it not the only secret.
In the book you will find all the information for this step of preparation, storage in the freezer (for preparation of large quantities) and cooking.
Similar products but different in taste, you are free to choose what to eat.
The cookbook will be printed on coated paper 110/115 g., hardcover, the size will be about 24cm x 20cm. (They can change the size, but not smaller of these).
The biggest challenge will be to translate in the English language all such recipes, I need a long time, I have already contacted the professional translators for this job.
THE NAMES OF DESSERTS remain in the original language, Italian, French (Tiramisu, Croissant), in some cases where it is possible there will be an English translation. (for example for the ingredients: Italian language 'Mela', English language 'Apple')
The units of measurement of the various ingredients, will be according to the standard: Kilogram, gram, liter, temperature C° (celsius).
There are no problems, in the stores can be purchased for $ 13/18 US dollars kitchen scales with the opportunity to weigh the ingredients in different units. (Kg. g.. oz. lb., Etc.). I wanted to convert the units of measurement to facilitate your work of preparation, but it is very complicated, there are too many recipes. I would need at least 1 year of work with a consequent delay in publication of the cookbook . I hope you can forgive me for this little problem.
Here's an example of some delights to prepare for you, for your children and for your friends.
This cookbook can also be useful to professionals around the world, chefs, pastry chefs. The recipes are all tested and calibrated, my customers are completely satisfied with my desserts, I hope for you is the same result.
I will try to make the right choice of 250/300 recipes, and I hope they will like it too you.
You like the Tiramisù? the Krapfen? The profiteroles with fruit? Saint Honoré with choco Chantilly? Strudel with 'Apple and Pine nuts'? 'Millevoglie' with exotic fruits?................ no problem, in the book there will be.
This is a delicious crepe with cherry jam and cereal, you can also do with Nutella and banana, and many other variants. Can also be done savory with 'Mozzarella and Prosciutto', 'Stracchino and Rucola', or other variants, to make a snack or for dinner.
You will also find Savory Pastries for your party, anniversaries, or just to stay with family or friends and drink some beer, or a glass of fine wine.

Who contributes to the hardcover version, will also have included ebook version.
The book ' The Art of Desserts' will have about 250/300 images in full color, so you have no problem recreating your dessert as in the corresponding recipe.
The Impact
For the success of the project your contribution is important, if you like being creative in the kitchen, suggest to your clients new desserts or you like to practice the hobby of pastry chef, this book is for you, selecting the perk for the version that interests you to contribute to realize my project.
I also added a perk of thanks with a small amount of 3 EUR or 12 EUR, for this perks you are entitled to 5 or 18 recipes in PDF format, (Earlier publication as December 2015) and you can then evaluate whether to buy the book when it is published. The 3 EUR or 12 EUR already donated will be discounted from the price of the book to any version purchased ( Hardcover or ebook digital).
The sale (Printed Version) will be exclusively by me, will not be a book that you will find on the market, I decided to make this choice to have the exclusive of my recipes. If the project is successful, then everyone can purchase it from my website.
I do not want to be a writer or publisher, I just want to realize the dream of publishing a personal cookbook and share it with those who like the art of desserts.
If the campaign reaches the goal, it will build a website with the purchase 'The Art of Desserts' directly from me.
If you have requests for translations 'The Art of Desserts' into other languages (Spanish, French or other) I can ask the translators. I can add a perk on its language. But I state that I first have to assess the costs of translation, which are very high.
Risks & Challenges
My wish is to make you appreciate my dessert even if you are very far from Italy.
When a customer, whether Italian or of another nationality on holiday in Italy makes me compliments for my dessert, I am very happy, this means that my work is done well.
I have chosen to print the book and ebook not far from me, to personally control the work done, so that the end result is excellent, and you can appreciate even more my recipes.
If the campaign reach the goal, the website that will be activated, there will be the opportunity to talk to me to ask questions on any issue of preparation or advice on ingredients to be used for preparation. But do not worry, the book is very detailed and easy to understand.
If you made a contribution and the campaign does not reach the goal, do not worry, your money will automatically be refunded.
