The Attic Monologues is a serialised urban fantasy audio drama from Audioverse award winning writer Morgan Greensmith, following Nyx Ryland, a drama student performing a mysterious collection of monologues they discover in their attic, for their crush and roommate, Bella Crow. But when they begin receiving threats from the purported Author of these monologues, they soon find themselves embroiled in a cosmic Narrative that threatens those they love most.
Season 3 begins four months after the Season 2 finale. With Bella missing and Nyx entirely unaware, the Author is ready to bring drama and angst to the Narrative. As the magical city of Trinovantum threatens to shatter, the characters must figure out what is more important: revenge, or hope?
With over 30,000 listens from around the world, The Attic Monologues is only continuing to grow in popularity. Free to listen to, and free of sponsorships and advertising, accessibility is our priority: we’re passionate about bringing enchanting storytelling and great representation to as many listeners as possible.

The first two seasons of The Attic Monologues were made possible due to a combination of crowdfunding and volunteer work. A typical episode of The Attic Monologues takes about 56 hours of collective work to produce- at present, we split an average of £140 between the team, with everyone recieving the same hourly late based on how much time they contributed to an episode. We want to pay our hardworking, talented team what they deserve whilst also keeping the show free to listen and free from advertising, but we can only do that with your help. Here’s a breakdown of our funding goals:

OUR BASIC GOAL: £2.8k
It takes roughly 56 collective hours of acting, directing, writing, etc. to produce an episode of The Attic Monologues. Season 3 will be 20 episodes long: at £140 an episode, that'll cost us £2.8k. Thanks to savings from our generous patrons and those who have bought merchandise from our RedBubble, we have money to pay for IndieGogo platform costs and printing some physical rewards.
2x PAY: £5.6k
At this level, we’ll be able to double the whole team’s pay! To celebrate, TAM's creator Morgan will be GMing a TTRPG one-shot set in the world of The Attic Monologues, with volunteering members of the cast as players. We'll release an edited recording as a bonus episode during the hiatus between Seasons 2 & 3.
3x PAY: £8.4k
At this level, we’ll be able to triple the whole team’s pay! If we reach this goal, we’ll invite our IndieGogo contributors to vote on which episode they'd most like to hear commentary on. Alongside Morgan, our director L will commentate on the three most popular episodes, and these special episodes will be released as bonus episodes during the hiatus between Seasons 2 & 3.
A FAIR WAGE: £12.8k
At this level, we’ll be able to pay everyone £11.44 per hour, which is minimum wage in the UK, where most of our team are based. We’d be so grateful to be able to compensate the team fairly- as a heartfelt ‘thank you’, Morgan will be writing a novella about the exploits of Raven and the Phoenix gang as a prequel to the main story of The Attic Monologues. We’ve already begun production on Season 3 of The Attic Monologues, and intend to continue releasing episodes on a fortnightly schedule, starting in the summer of 2025. Season 3 will be 20 episodes long, and allowing for a mid-season hiatus, the final episode should be released in early 2026.

This is a low-risk project, as regardless of if we get funded or not, we fully intend to get the season made. The Attic Monologues has been a labour of love from the start, and the cast and crew have proven over the first two seasons of the show that they are willing to donate their time to get the story told if need be. Show creator, Morgan Greensmith, is willing to volunteer their time, and by paying out of pocket, will be guaranteeing the minimum payment to our cast and crew even if the funding goal isn't met.
Rather than being cancelled, the show risks getting delayed if unforeseen circumstances, such as accidents or illnesses slow us down. Regardless, we fully intend to get the season done, and are committed to delivering it on schedule, just as we have done for the past two seasons.
