The Barisieur is an automatic coffee or tea brewer that eases you into the day with the sound of bubbling water and the smell of freshly brewed coffee or loose leaf tea.

It encourages a ritual in order to establish a routine before going to sleep, signaling to the body and mind that it is time to unwind and relax.

The fresh coffee or tea is used as a natural aromatic relaxant throughout the night then stimulates the user in the morning once brewed.

• The boiling vessel on the left is sealed with a bung, which is essential for transporting the water. 
•  The Water boils due to the induction hob, heating up the stainless steel base. Steam pressure is produced, forcing the water out of the vessel and into the stainless steel filter, brewing the user a perfect beverage. 
• There is a milk vessel which lifts out from the tray, Is cooled overnight/ throughout the day with the bespoke peltier cooler. 
• Sealed drawer for Tea & Coffee and other necessities.

Risks and challenges

CERTIFICATION: Fortunately for the consumer, appliances that are integrating into the home come with strict safety regulations. We don't try to pretend to be experts in this area. That's why we are partnering with an expert who can handle all the necessary steps required to get The Barisieur approved and certified for you and the consumer market.

DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURING: During pre-production, our prototypes are rigorously tested by our engineering and manufacturing experts in order to create an optimal final product. However, we are aware that The Barisieur may face additional changes to meet manufacturing and certification requirements. In addition to keeping our backers up to date, we will make sure any changes during manufacturing uphold our original design intentions and meet your interests.

PRODUCTION: Manufacturing a product is complex and involves many people, parts and tools all dependent on each other to keep things running smoothly. If one thing doesn't go as planned, it can lead to any number of disruptions along the production line and result in delays. If anything does come up along the way, we promise to handle professionally and will keep our supporters informed of any changes.

WE BELIEVE WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN! We have built up a strong network of experts in hardware engineering, tooling, manufacturing, distribution and certification. We are ready for any challenges that may pop up along the way. However, we realise creating a product with complicated hardware is a complicated process.
