Our world is beautiful, and messy. As our country becomes increasingly polarized to the extremes of our political landscape, this film seeks to send a simple, but powerful message: one that calls on our humanity as the most important part of our selves. One that encapsulates the vision of Imam Hussain, the famous leader and warrior who stood against unimaginable tyranny: to fight for the oppressed, no matter who they are and what the cost. 

These powerful words are still very much needed to be reiterated in today’s polarized and unjust society. Imam Hussain's messages are universal and timeless.

This film aims to spread his message and combat all forms of oppression.

- meet the writer/director/dp -

Hussain Najam, born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. He moved to the U.S in 2015 with a passion of getting a higher education in the field of Cinema. He's also trained in Theater by the legendary Pakistani Actors. Now, he is about to complete his MFA in Cinematography. He has shot many projects which have received a lot of appreciation in the film festival circuit. His mission is to bring the Islamic perspective to mainstream storytelling as there is a great need and lack of representation.
