Overview
Scramblers are all the rage in electric bikes! The style is more of a look than a purpose - but for us the purpose is to make the fastest line between two points as FUN as possible – even if that means riding across fields, dirt roads, alleyways, city streets, or anywhere else.

Among other features, our battery is really separates us from the competition. All our bikes use the custom designed 52V battery. Our batteries have hidden features like 8A SUPER FAST charge capability. The whole process is documented HERE.

If you can not find what you're looking for here, please check our website (www.juicedbikes.com) or leave us a comment above. We will get back to you ASAP! You can contact us at sales@juicedbikes.com or call us direct at 1.888.303.8889 as well!

Q: Realistically, when can I expect the bike to arrive at my door?

We’ll go into production immediately after our campaign ends for a mid-late Fall delivery.  Normal shipping and production times will be added based on volume. Customers will be updated via email and social/blog updates along the way.

Q: Will you the bike arrive as described, or will there be last minute spec changes?

Everything we’ve advertised is already in production. If anything, we may upgrade the spec between now and delivery if an opportunity arises during the course of sourcing parts.

Q: What assembly is required?

Install the quick-release front wheel, screw on the pedals, tighten the handlebars and you’re ready to go.

Q: How is Scrambler delivered and is it easy to assemble?

Scrambler comes delivered with instructions and requires minimal assembly. If you don't have much experience with bikes, we recommend that you visit your local bike shop to ensure your safety.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

Free shipping was offered for a limited time during our campaign and has now ended. Shipping will now be added the cost of the bike in the contiguous 48 US states. Additional costs apply to Hawaii and Canada.

Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?

- 1 Year coverage on electrical components

- 2 Year coverage on mechanical components

- Lifetime coverage on frame

Should you encounter some production related issues in that time frame, contact our customer support and we will take care of it. We do not offer warranty on parts such as tires, disc brakes, and chain due to normal wear. For full details click HERE.

Q: What kind of accessories do you currently have or can I expect in the near future?

We currently offer a variety of accessories on our website and are regularly working to develop more accessories and options based on demand.

Q: What about spare parts? Can any bike shop assist me?

The Scrambler battery is custom and available to buy from us. The rest of the components are standard, meaning that you can upgrade your bike as you desire with other parts.

Q: Who is responsible for any additional taxes?

The backer is responsible for tax.

Q: How long has Juiced Bikes been working on Scrambler?

We’ve been in development on the Scrambler for several years and are now bringing it to market!  You’ve seen the rest, this is the best.

Q: How does Scrambler compare to your other bikes?

Scrambler takes the existing electronics from our RipCurrent S (750W) and HyperFat (1000W) - and puts it into an exciting new format.  So you get the best of our tried and true designs in an amazingly fun new package!

Q: Does Scrambler come in different sizes?

No. Scrambler is built in one frame size to fit a variety of riders 5'2" and above. Adjustable handlebars allow for a comfortable upright riding position and the long padded seat gives you plenty of room to move around to find your comfort.

Q: What colors does it come in?

Red, Black and Brushed Aluminum depending on the model you choose – you can not mix and match.

Q: How much weight can Scrambler handle?

Scrambler is built to handle riders up to 275 lbs easily.

Q: Can I put a friend on the back?

Yes, you can but ride carefully at your own risk. Max ‘total’ rider weight is rated at 275 lbs.

Q: What’s the top speed?

The CampScrambler and CityScrambler can reach a top speed of 28 mph in street-legal mode using pedal-assist, with throttle power up to 20 mph. In off-road mode, pedal-assist power continues through to 34 mph on HyperScrambler.

Q: Is it street legal?

CampScrambler and CityScrambler are both rated at 28mph Class 3 electric bikes. HyperScrambler will take you beyond this classification.  You will need to refer to your local laws for specifics.

Q: Do I need a license to ride Scrambler?

No. CampScrambler and CityScrambler are both rated at 28mph Class 3 electric bikes. HyperScrambler will take you beyond this classification. You will need to refer to your local laws for full details. It is possible to limit top speed with minor programming details which we make readily available on our website.

Q: Can I ride the bike with out the motor?

Yes, you can pedal the Scrambler just like any other bike.

Q: How fast can I go with just the throttle?

The Scrambler’s throttle will provide continuous power to the motor up to 20 mph.

Q: How much does Scrambler weigh?

It weighs approximately 60lbs.

Q: How long does the Scrambler battery last? How far can I go?

The battery inside CampScrambler and CityScrambler are built to last up to 30 mi with the pedal assist - depending on rider weight, terrain, and other factors. With the upgraded battery found on HyperScrambler, you can get up to 35 mi - depending on rider weight, terrain, and other factors.

Q: Can I lock the battery? Is the battery removable?

Our batteries are protected by a locking mechanism and securely located in the down tube. You can remove it or charge on the bike.

Q: How long does it take for the battery to charge?

From fully depleted to fully charged, the battery takes around 8 hours to charge with the stock 2A charger. Using any other chargers besides the provided charger (or Quick Charger) will void the warranty.

Q: How do I charge the battery?

You can either charge the battery while it is on the bike or take the battery off the bike and charge it using any normal household outlet.

Q: Does the bike come with a charger?

Yes.  The bikes ship with our standard 2A charger.

Q: Does pedaling the Scrambler charge the battery?

 No.

Q: Can I ride Scrambler on the sand?

Sure you can but make sure you do a detail cleaning afterwards so you don’t wreck your drive train. That’s not under warranty.

Q: Do you ship outside the USA?

For better or worse, we’re limited to the USA for now.

Q: Does the front suspension fork lock out?

Yes.

Q: Can I test ride a Scrambler bike?

Test rides are currently only available at our office in San Diego California. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Q: Can I get a refund?

Please refer to Indiegogo's refund policy.
