MISSION STATEMENT

  • The Books of Egu is a series of fictional video games and interactive content inspired by the New Testament. Our mission is to make the Bible cool again by introducing play to the scriptures. It takes players on an interactive visual novel adventure filled with adrenaline, puzzling mysteries, and animated stories. We are offering the principals in order to promote Christianity in video games. Today, most kids and young adults would rather interact and learn from stories in video games or animations than to read the stories in the Bible. This is because the way we interact with the Bible are outdated. Where's the fun? The Books of Egu is an alternative way to experience the Bible by bringing play into the equation.

 EPISODE 1

  • Our main characters are Judas, Peter and John the Baptizer (left to right). They are wrongfully imprisoned inmates inside the Penitentiary within the city of Nemean. Together, they come up with an elaborate plan to escape toward a Messiah who's supposed to save them.

  • Breaking out of a city wide prison is no easy task. No inmate has ever escaped the high level security from the Enforcers around Nemean. However, with the Games coming to town, everybody will be focused on that. John, Peter and Judas see this as an opportunity to evade the Enforcers but they need to create more distractions.

  • Peter's mission is to become the "rabbit". He gets into a car and begins a high speed chase with Enforcers around the city. As he drives, he also destroys the Power Stations fueling the security around the city. While all eyes are on Peter in the car and John at the stadium, Judas is working behind the scenes.

EPISODE 2

  • Episode 2 focuses on the present stage with the shocking arrest of John the Baptizer. Herod and the Union move into crowd control and Saul is presented as the lead investigator of the Nemean Escape. Saul discovers that during the car chase, someone broke into the Security Tower and scrambled the system allowing many inmates to escape including John, Peter and Judas. His mission is to figure out how and why.

  • Saul finds footage of Judas breaking into the Security Tower. The investigation unravels as you piece together what happened that night in Nemean.

  • Herod and Saul plot against the Messiah. His lawsuit against the Union for the false imprisonment of John the Baptizer is a problem for Herod. Saul sees closing this case as a new opportunity to reach the height of his career, as a Minister.
