Perhaps nowhere is the search for knowledge of the afterlife--and the reaches of the human mind--so driven as in Chicago. A place of mass tragedy, tremendous emotion, and huge personalities inspired by the best and worst intentions, the city of Al Capone, Jane Addams, H. H. Holmes, the White City, the first skyscraper, the worst building fire, the deepest depravity of organized crime, the most pivotal mass destruction of a city, the deadliest inland marine disaster : Today Chicago is a point of pilgrimage for untold numbers of paranormal investigators from around the world.
For 8 years, the Chicago Ghost Conference has been the destination for many of these travelers to come together to meet others who are interested in humanity's greatest questions: Does the soul survive? What can our minds achieve outside of our bodies? And where is life really going?
We are paranormal researchers: ghost hunters, scientists, mediums, clairvoyants, historians and psychics. We study the influence of the mind, build radios to talk to the dead, promote the supernatural folklore of cities big and small and research the complex histories of families and properties to find their most tragic secrets--and their meanings for us today.
Each year we have drawn a wonderful group of people from our own circles, but this year we want to extend our reach to draw the many searchers who are out there but don't yet know of this remarkable opportunity to share their questions, ideas and experiences.
Your sponsorship will help us purchase extended print advertising, create a local television commercial, and purchase radio advertising with local broadcast stations, all with the goal of offering what we have to those outside of our own community and social media, in the hopes of sharing the tremendous experience of paranormal research.
If you can't contribute as a sponsor please consider contributing any amount you are able to. Or spread the word to whoever you can! That's what our campaign is all about!
