Hi! My name is Michelle and dance is my life.

I have recently been given the opportunity to travel to New York and perform with Leanne Schmidt & Company; Leanne Schmidt & Company is a modern based dance company in Brooklyn, New York. In order for me to travel to Brooklyn and chase my dreams, I need some help getting there. I am asking for $1,200 to cover the cost of housing, food, site seeing like shows, classes and any other miscellaneous fees. 

Being a dance education major at Grand Canyon University, this will be an amazing opportunity for my career and also for myself as a dancer. Dance has been apart of my life since I was 3 years old. If it were not for my mom bribing me with donuts to not cry in class a child, I do not know where I would be today. 

This trip to New York is going to be life changing. I hope that with the help from you lovely people, I will be able to make this dream happen!
