Darkstone Entertainment is an independent film company based out of Virginia, USA. Originally founded by John Johnson and his childhood friends on August 3rd, 1993, Darkstone Entertainment has now become one of the leading Horror / Fantasy film companies in the commonwealth.
While a Darkstone’s films usually prefers the creative freedom of the fantasy and horror genre, it may also be or combine elements of a drama, comedy, romance, film noir, adventure, action, musical, western, sci-fi, thriller, etc. Darkstone, in the future to come hopes to bring many films to audiences everywhere and put its notch in the history of filmmaking!
John Johnson / Darkstone Entertainment has to date created over 197 films. This includes, features, shorts, television series, music videos, web content, and more!
Darkstone has also acquired thousands of fans and can be found on these platforms as well as many others. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Playstation 4, Youtube, etc.
This campaign is going to help us get to the next level of a production company where we can self distribute our own films!
Even though we are not looking for that much money, the funds we need will fill in the gap in our last step to victory!
The Goods
The funds we make are going towards, physical Bluray and DvD copy duplication, physical Poster prints, a fund to travel to a couple conventions to promote, and some editing gear.
Perks! We are basically opening up a store to pre-order all the merch from the film, as well as selling a few of our older films and series! On top of all that we are selling credits in the movie, a Nilbog Residence Certificate, and a Darkstone Cards Against Humanity Set!
Whatever we do not raise in our campaign, we will gather from investors. But we want to make a platform here, where those who like our content can be apart of the film's creation as well as future films to come!
