THE FILM, THE PRODUCTION & THE PLAN
The story of THE DIVINE ORDER shadows a tightly knit cult in the aftermath of a mass suicide. The exception is a couple of strangers who refuse to “drink the Kool Aid” much to the ire of the Cults’ persuasive and controlling leader. The two surviving characters break out from the compound, which is in a high desert wasteland, and begin to run for a second chance at life. The story is analogous to the sacrifices that adults face all over the world in different ways. The wisdom of the crowd versus the anxiety of being alone and separate. Sometimes demands and expectations build up from a very early age and can feel as if they are pre determined. Where is the line between inspiring a mass of people and mind control?
We are embarking on our very first Indie Go-Go campaign. We do not take this journey casually. We have the highest regard for the practice of crowd funding and have thought about our monetary goal wisely. With a finished version of this film we will submit to film festivals and distribute it through internet platforms (Netflix, Hulu etc..) We are asking for $5,000 to cover the expenses of paying the actors and crew and for some locations and equipment rentals. We have a great core team and already are working with a very solid pair of HD Cameras. We pride ourselves in the DIY school of independent filmmaking, and the relationships that are built as a result are the highpoint of the experience. We are hitting our stride as a filmmaking team and have many more features and shorts planned in the coming months and years.

No matter the amount we raise during this campaign it will help us. Everything we have done until now has been paid for out of our own pockets and we are used to making ends meet through our unique collaboration. But a modest boost of $5,000 will push us outside our own wallets and give us just enough financial freedom to complete this film which is finalizing casting and just closed its pre-production phase.
Any donation size helps the realization our goal. We appreciate your kindness deeply. There is no set way you can help us. I mean we thank you for your valuable time just by reading this far into our pitch! $5,000 may not seem like a lot of money to make a feature film but it astonishes what can be done these days with the technology we get to use.
Helping us tell this story will not only get the film made which has its’ own valuable message but it will help a fledgling company get another feature film done which will propel us on to greater things, i.e. more movies!
Our last film was made for less than what we are asking for and with a lot less resources and knowledge of the filmmaking process. We can do a lot with a little so we are building at an organic rate that is right for our talents. We are hitting our stride as a filmmaking unit.
These goals are not something that we have decided on lightly, we are in this for the long haul and our plans extend beyond this feature and the next but decades into the future.
We know that there are more ways to contribute to the successful campaign of a movie than just financial. Please spread the word of our film by passing along the links below and the link to this page to people that you think would be interested.
The Indie Go-Go share tools are amazingly easy to use.
