The Film
The Foreigner will speak to anyone who is is feeling listless, angry or anxious in the current political climate. Everyone who has read the script has been drawn in by the story and characters. Even a few years ago the premise and world of the film might have been considered dystopian; an imagined future impossibly removed from our present. But now, all would consider this scenario possible; some may even say aspects of it are inevitable. We're asking for your help to bring this story to the screen, to bring this story to as many people as possible, and to therefore remind ourselves and our policymakers that the most important things - our freedoms and rights - should never be infringed.
The Production
We will be shooting in London on the weekend of November 24th & 25th, with a crew of film professionals (many of whom are generously giving up their time to help us out with the bottom line) and are hoping to have the film ready before Christmas. A very ambitious timeline but we're an ambitious and committed bunch!
The Money
We are looking to raise £8,000 through this campaign to pay for production and post-production costs.
These include:
- Location hire, including power generators and food for the cast and crew
- Camera, lens, sound and lighting equipment hire
- Vehicle hire to transport equipment to location
- Post-production sound and editing facilities
In return for your generous contribution we're offering some fantastic perks, so please check them out!

We have put together an incredible team so far (with more to be added) of film professionals all with significant experience in the industry.
