The Story
Doug is a psychotherapist with a successful practice. Ned is his best friend who works in the same building. When Ned meets and is attracted to Susan, one of Doug's patients, Doug has a strong sense of foreboding. This is a conflict of interest. Isn't it? Is it? Maybe not. But, Doug's sense that things can go wildly wrong when Ned and Susan hook up is wildly prophetic.
BFD Productions, based out of NYC is launching the new short, 'The Grade' by Seth Freeman. The project will be shot and premiered in New York City. From there, the project will be circulated throughout film festivals across the country.
What We Need & What You Get
In order to get this project off the ground, we need your help in raising $5,000. Funds received will be allocated to different technical aspects of the project as follows:
$3,000 for camera, light, and equipment rentals. Accessory lighting equipment such as bulbs and gels are included. Equipment includes stands, dolly, tripods, and camera accessory needs.
$500 for sound equipment including mics, booms, music productions and post sound editing.
$500 for props, costumes, set decoration, and makeup
$500 for location fees. Filming requires us to shoot on location in offices and apartments which require payment for renting out the space.
$500 for post production and festival submissions. This will allow us to get the film to festivals around the country.
