The Haunting Of Hog Hollow
SYNOPSIS:
After leaving their unfulfilling lives up North, two friends decide to start over in sunny Florida. Together, they find the perfect house—spacious, secluded, and surprisingly cheap. But the house has been on the market for years, and when they arrive things start to feel a bit off.
As they clean the house, strange phenomena begin: the scent of baked goods with no source, fleeting shadows, and an unsettling feeling of being watched. The house seems alive with energy. Soon, they find a hidden ghost-hunting kit and a disturbing scrapbook detailing the local legend of Edith Swinehart, an obese pig farmer with a twisted obsession. Edith’s dark secret? She was obsessed with her own weight gain and the weight gain of others. She fattened women that he held captive into massively obese "piggies," chaining them up in a secluded barn and feeding them by machine.
After a failed rescue attempt by a local neighbor, Edith and her favorite “piggy” fled into the swamp, never to be seen again, but their presence lingers on the land, haunting the house that now stands where the barn used to be.
When the women use the ghost-hunting kit, they unwittingly invite a ghostly possession. One woman is taken over by Edith’s spirit, while the other becomes the vessel for her precious prized "piggy." As they are forced to reenact Edith’s horrific past, they both gain an immense amount of weight at the hands of Edith’s spirit.
Now trapped in their immense forms, the women realize the true horror is the curse that binds them to a twisted legacy of gluttony and obsession.

ENDGAME:
Shortfall: If we don’t reach our full funding goal, the project will still move forward, but we will need to make some compromises. This could mean scaling back on visual effects, shortening the run time, or reducing the scope of prop fabrication and rentals. While the heart of the project will remain intact, these adjustments would be necessary to keep things on track with a reduced budget.
Windfall: If we raise more than our goal, we’ll be able to add an additional character and/or include additional scenes to enhance the project even further!
