History is often written by those in power, leaving untold stories and achievements of marginalized communities hidden in the shadows. Our documentary project, "The Hidden & Untold Truth." is on a mission to unearth and spotlight the rich and impactful history of Black heroics, discoveries, innovations, and ingenuity that have often been omitted, hidden and whitewashed in what is considered mainstream American history.
Our Vision:
"The Hidden & Untold Truth." is not just a documentary; it's a testament to the remarkable contributions of Black individuals throughout American history. We aim to rewrite the narrative, celebrate unsung heroes, and provide a more complete and accurate portrayal of the American story.
There will also be a companion book filled with photos and explanatory text.

Risks & Challenges
Documentaries aren't easy. However film making is what we do and True History is a passion.
- My background in cultivating Black history is no secret. I'm following in footsteps of Carter G. Woodson (The Father of Black History Month), who just happens to be a part of my family line (Great Great Uncle). It was the discovering of some of his documents in my grandmothers closet decades ago that ignited my interest in Black History.
- We are filming and creating the companion book regardless of what we raise here, however your help will make it much easier. We have the film crew and the outline. Your contribution will not be wasted.
