Thoughts from Director Janet Craig...
"Assembling the best team is essential. Movie making is an opportunity to work as a team to tell a story. It is a gift to collaborate and create with other artists."
"I love learning about people, their circumstances, and their unique points of view. I think we can love more easily when we see ourselves in someone else’s shoes."
" Our movie is TAKEN meets CRASH. A crime thriller where people's secret actions impact each other in surprising ways."
"The Hotline Movie originated when our oldest daughter asked us to go with her to an event to hear about human trafficking and sex slavery. We had no idea the impact it would have on our lives. We heard a young woman share her story of being trafficked at this Forever Found event. When we heard her story, we were so moved and wanted to do something to help girls and boys out there being trafficked, living a daily hell. Our passion fueling this film is to do our part to help foster youth and stop sex slavery."
The Hotline Movie is being made to help raise support for three organizations already on the front lines in this fight.
"Hotline is a courageous depiction of a real tragedy that is happening right here in our own backyards. You will be inspired to get involved in the fight against child sex trafficking."
—Kati Rhodes, Forever Found
"Hotline is a compelling movie that both challenges and gives hope to viewers that they can help improve the lives of trafficking victims, many of whom are children in the foster care system."
—Tami Barnett, Raising Hope
"Awareness to the issue of human trafficking is vital in the fight to bring this atrocity to an end. Janet and her team are 'Doing Their One Thing' to 'Change One Story' at a time."
—Vickie McCoy, ZOE International
Producers Grossmans and Wises will be giving 100% of their profit from the film to support these organizations.
Our team consists of multi-national, passionate filmmakers, parents, foster parents, and people aiming to make a difference in the fight against sex slavery.
