Short Summary
We open on our main character, a young woman named Valquíria, on the phone with her mother. It is revealed through the conversation that Valquíria is a housekeeper on her way to her last job appointment. Valquíria has a new economic opportunity on the horizon and just needs to get through her last day of work to secure finances promised by the homeowner. When she arrives, she finds the homeowner gone and an unusually long list of chores that need to be completed by the end of the day. We follow Valquíria as she goes from room to room tending to the needs of the house. Things begin to slowly go awry, preventing her from finishing even a simple task. Feeling the pressure to complete the chores, she stumbles further into the house’s secrets and the mysterious plan it has for her. What follows is a descent into darkness shrouded by false promises threatening to derail her hopes of a better future when it is revealed the house is under the control of a nefarious presence. Valquíria must remain courageous to make it out of the house’s clutches, setting her free of the chains of evil and breaking free of the rigid social caste system that has prevented her from achieving her dreams.

Liliana Senecal - Producer, Cinematographer
Bio: Hello! My name is Liliana Senecal, I am a senior at Keene State College and I major in Film Production and Film Studies. Film production and all of its aspects has captivated me for years. I first found my love for cinematography the moment I laid my hands on a 4K film camera in 2016. The production portion of filmmaking is my favorite; from the chaos of a set, to finally bringing to life a concept that has been brewing. Recently, I have worked on a feature film and a handful of short films that are currently in post-production. I can’t wait to work with this wonderful crew, and to share our artform with you all!
