What are Juntos Shoes?
Super light, pliable and form fitting canvas low top lace-ups inspired by the working class in Ecuador. Each pair sold results in an Education Backpack for at-risk students where the style originates.
Look Good. Do Good.
Ecuadorian Street Style Repurposed for the Common Good.
A super light weight and sharp looking shoe with an amazing story and purpose.
With every purchase made, an education backpack filled with crucial school supplies is donated to an at-risk student in the same neigborhoods where we take our inspiration.
The Shoe
El Zapato de Lona. The Ecuadorian street shoe. Like the flip-flop is to Rio, this simple canvas lace-up is to cities like Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Worn by the working class, day in, day out, they’re an iconic part of the landscape - part functional necessity, part social signifier.
Juntos embraces this heritage and brings it to you, refining and repurposing the design while preserving everything that makes the shoe, the shoe.
That’s why you’ll find a map of Ecuador on the inside of every pair, so you never forget where they came from.
It’s also why for every pair sold, we donate an education pack filled with crucial school supplies to a local child – a small way of giving back to the places where we find our inspiration.
To us, that’s the real meaning of an ethical footprint.

The Purpose
Like the shoe, the purpose is perfectly simple.
For every Juntos pair sold, an education pack is given to an at-risk child in the source region.
So, because we discovered an amazing canvas street shoe in Guayaquil, Ecuador, a child in that city gets a backpack.
Filled with a year’s supply of pens, pencils, notepads and other basic but crucial educational tools so often taken for granted, this resource allows a child to participate more fully and effectively in school.
Look Good. Do Good.
The Story
Our vision is to create a community based brand that scours the untapped corners of the globe for hidden fashion discoveries, making them available to the style conscious & ethically conscientious customer.
Juntos Project has been in the works for over 2 years. It all started while visiting Ecuador and taking notice of the social signifying Zapto de Lona, "The Canvas Shoe" that is found throughout the coast of Ecuador. Typically produced in mass and with low quality, the shoe is a social signifier for the working class.
We set to work redesigning and manufacturing the traditional style at a higher quality and comfort level. The Juntos shoe is incredibly light and features special design features.
With prototypes of our new design ready, we introduced the Juntos Shoe from a food truck during Art Basel. We were invited by Soho Beach House to present our shoe to their members and received amazing feedback and the courage to continue. So far, people seem love our mission, love our shoes and have worn them around the world. Now we invite you to join us!
