Harlan Beverly is Chief Executive Officer of Key Ingredient, the Austin-based company focused on harnessing the latest technologies to advance the digital cooking experience for home cooks.

In 2005, Beverly founded and was CEO of Bigfoot Networks, Inc., a gaming hardware company, which was acquired by Qualcomm in 2011. After Bigfoot, he founded and was CEO of Karmaback, Inc., a social networking SaaS company, which was acquired in 2013.

Beverly has more than 20 patents and has been published in dozens of books and articles.  In his 12 years leading companies and teams, Beverly has successfully launched more than 12 hardware and 30 software products including the Killer NIC, 2007 Network Product of the Year (CPU Magazine).

Beverly was recently invited to become a professor of Entrepreneurship at The University of Texas where he will also serve as assistant director of the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs. He is also pursuing his PhD in Business, and is actively involved in the entrepreneurship community of Austin as advisor and board member of multiple companies.

As chief technology officer of Austin-based Key Ingredient, Ryan Nowakowski is responsible for all tech projects including web, software and hardware development. Key Ingredient is focused on harnessing the latest technologies to advance the digital cooking experience for home cooks. Nowakowski previously worked on the Smart Router Team at Qualcomm and was the founder and CTO of Karmaback, a social network marketing company, with the goal of helping companies generate real sales revenue from social networks.

Nowakowski is a seasoned software engineer and application developer, working at companies such as Bigfoot Networks, NetStreams, Britestream Networks, S1 Corporation, Broadwing Communications, Tivoli Systems and Applied Materials. He is fluent in Python, Javascript, and C. He loves Linux and playing around with machine learning.

Published on the topic of neural modeling programs, Nowakowski received his Computer Science degree from University of Texas at Austin.
